"Scared of you?" Jungkook repeated, raising a brow in disbelief.

"This...this thing. This behaviour. It scared you?"

Jimin looked up, his gaze meeting Jungkook's and the younger could see the uncertainty and fear in the man's eyes.

"No," Jungkook answered immediately.

"The first time I woke up, I was scared. But I wasn't scared of you, I was scared for you. I thought you hurt yourself of something. You sounded afraid," Jungkook continued, "when Hobi-hyung spoke to me, that was when I understood it."

Jimin smiled, but it didn't reach his eyes.

"You're gonna have to get used to it."

Jungkook frowned.

"No, don't say it like that."

Jimin's smile fell.

"Like what?"

"Like I'm forced to accept it. Like I have no other choice but to accept it."

Jimin swallowed you, "you don't have to."

Jungkook grumbled something that sounded like "unbelievable" before he maneuvered Jimin such that he was now directly facing the smaller male.

"No, baby. I meant, the way you said that. I didn't like it. When you put it that way, it seems like I am forced to do it against my will but that's not it at all. I'm not forced to do anything here. Loving you, accepting you. This isn't forced. This isn't against my will. The minute I said I loved you was the minute I accepted you and every little bit of you, baby."

Jimin cupped Jungkook's cheeks and pressed his lips against Jungkook's.

"I'm sorry. I never said anything before because I was afraid you'd get scared and I'd lose you—"

Jungkook cut him off by kissing him hard.

"Never, baby. I love you so much and everything you have to offer. Plus, you're super cute when you talk in your sleep, you know."

Jimin's cheeks burned red.

"Shut up," he mumbled, playfully smacking Jungkook's chest and the younger chuckled.

"The cutest," Jungkook mumbled, fondly and Jimin buried his face in the younger's chest, suddenly shy.
