Rani was dumbstruck, to think that Herbwild, the closest friend she had while she was young. Had said her grandmother and her was disgusting!!!
At that time, Kion arrived. He saw Herbwild and was rushing to fight her when Rani stopped him." What?!" Asked Kion, suprised.
" Kion, you and Surak are more needed at the southen border. Please help me to fight off the attackers there." Said Rani, weridly.
" Ok." Said Kion. And he and Surak went off to the southen border.
Then Rani turn to Herbwild and said" Herbwild, why have you become like this? The Herbwild I know was king and generous and good. Please give me my old Herbwild." Pleaded Rani, hoping to get Herbwild back to her senses.
Herbwild's eyes soften, only to turn hard again" Because of your murdering grandmother, she killed my fiance! And ever since then, I have swore finish Sedak's misson, to kill every of Queen Jamma desendents, even if that means killing my best friend!"
" Well, then. I guess we would have to fight for it." Said Rani, growling and baring her teeth.
" So be it." Said Herbwild, doing the same action. Then without warning, lunged towards Rani's direction.
Rani dodged and lunged back. Herbwild was taken by suprise, bit managed to dodged to, just missing a whisker from Rani's claws.
Just then, Kion returned with his Lion Guard. They had fought off the intruders and Surak had gone back to the Tree to Nirmale. Kion was shocked at the sight before him.
As he went to stop the two, Fuli blocked him and said" Leave them be, Kion. It is a lioness's fight and beside you don't know anything about the strange lioness's background." Kion sighed, knowing Fuli was right. Then, he stepped back and watch.
Rani pretend to lung at Herbwild's left, making the lioness dodged to the right. Then she took her claws and racked Herbwild's stomach, watching the red blood drip to the floor, and making Kion threw up at the sight.
" Alright, you win. We will leave." Said Herbwild, groaning in pain as she slowly stood up, limping towards the border.
" Good and stay out, unless you want to be dead. You are not much of a fighter anyway." Said Rani, choking at her own words, but not letting the tears fall out because she didn't want Herbwild to see her as weak.
As soon as Herbwild left, Rani coallasped to the floor in tears, sobbing loudly. Kion went to comfort her as she cried on his shoulder. Then Kion said" You want me to accompany you?"
Rani said, drying her eyes" No, thanks Kion. There is someone I must talk to. Anyway, thanks for letting me use your shoulder."
" You are welcome, and who is the person you want to meet?" Kion ask out of curousity.
" Kopa, my boyfriend." Answered Rani, smiling at the thought of her boyfriend. She didn't notice Kion digging his claws into the ground in anger and jelousy.
