A week later.......
" I am so excited for tomorrow!" Was the first thing Rani siad when she met Kion.
" Why?" Asked Kion, rasing a eyebrow. Actually he knew, tomorrow Rani is getting married and Kopa would be King of the Tree of Life.
" You haven't hear?!" Excalaimed Rani with a shock face.
Kion hold his laughter at seeing Rani's shocked face. Then he replied" No, I haven't heard anything since last week." ( Last week was the week Rani had anounced to the Tree of Life animals that she is getting married.)
" Really?" Asked Rani, who was now the one rasing a eyebrow.
Kion couldn't hold in his laughter any longer. He laughs until his stomach aches while rolling on the floor.
Rani gets the joke and smirked" Oh, you. You were lying to me. Come back here. Don't you dare run away. Kion! KION!" Then she chases after Kion.
When Rani was breathless at chasing Kion, Kopa suddnely showed up. He saw Rani collasped in the ground and rushed over to her.
" What's the matter, Rani?" Kopa asked, worried.
" Help... me.....chase....Kion....Payback......tickle........paws." gasped Rani while laughing while also panting.
" Oh. "laughs Kopa as he gets he message. Then he started to chase Kion. After a while, Rani got up and help him.
" Wait! No fair! It is two against one!" Yelled Kion.
" You didn't say anything about the rules of having two against one." Shouted Rani.
" Well. Cannot have two against one. That's a rule." Yelled Kion.
" Too late!" Kopa yelled as he slowly started to gain on Kion.
" Oh no. Yikes! Can't catch me. 😛 !" Teased Kion as he easily escaped their cluches of tickles.
Then Kopa colkased on the ground followed by Rani. Kion comes at where they are lying and laughs" Even you two can't catch me! Ha ha ha..... Wait. No!!! Help!! Let fo of me! I beg you!" Screamed Kion as Kopa suddenly leaped up and pinned him.
" Ha Ha Ha! Gotcha!" Laughs Kopa.
" Wait! You tricked me!" Yelled Kion.
You bet I did, and it was pretty clever for me to use this eay as a trap." Said Kopa as he continue laughing. Then suddenly, he started to tickle Kion, soon followed by Rani."
" Stop! I can't breath!" Laughs Kion as he tried to escaped.
Kopa get off him. Then Kion got up and glared at him. " You cheated! You are a cheater!" He said
" Ooh. Are you angry because you lost." Teased Kopa.
"No! Ummm..... Yes!" Yelled Kion.
When they were about to continue playing, a lioness came and grabbed Rani. Rani screamed and kicked at her kidnapper, but those have less than little effect on the lioness.
Kopa and Kion was shocked, while also frozen to the ground. Then Kion roars and lunged at the lioness but then lioness already disappear. Instead, Kion found a leaf with writing on it 'Go to the main border of the Tree of life to find your pecious little Queen.'
Kopa snatched the leaf and read the words. Then he turned as pale as the moon. Kion asked" What's wrong, Kopa? All we had to do was to go to the border and get Rani."
" It is not that simple! Can't you see what is writen below?!" Yelled Kopa.
Kion looked and saw the words 'If you don't come at 20 minutes, you Queen will be dead.'
"What are you waiting for, then!? Let's go!"screamed Kion.
They rush to the Tree of Life to get Surak, then they ran to the border.
15 minutes later.....
Surak, Kopa and Kion have arrived at the main border. They gasped at the sight of Rani. She was tyied on a tree, bleeding eveywhere. A lioness walked out and smirked. Surak could only said one word" Herbwild."
" Well, it seems you have finally arrived." Taunted Herbwild.
Kopa yelled at her" Herbwild! Let her go!!!"
" Oh, I will let her go" answered Herbwild, Kopa sighed in relif, but Herbwild haven't finished yet." Only if somebody dies for her instead, and it must be someone she loves."
Kopa, Kion and Surak'eyes widen in shock. Then Surak says, trembling" I will die for her."
" No! You cannot!" Object Kopa and Kion.
"I must!" said Surak.
" You cannot!" yelled Kion" Nirmala is about to give birth in another week and she needs you to be there!"
" Your right." Sighed Surak.
" I will be willing to die for her." Said Kion.
" You can't. Your family at Pride Rock is waiting for you."answered Kopa.
" Yeah." Sighed Kion too.
Rani's eyes welled up in tears as she saw that her uncle and frient is willing to give up their lives for her.
" I will die for her." Said Kopa, with determination in his eyes.
" No! Not you, Kopa!" Screamed Rani.
" Yes!" Screamed Surak and Kion too.
"I must."said Kopa sadly.
" Good. Stand here, then" smirked Herbwild, pointing to a circle at the ground.
" Goodbye, everyone." Said Kopa. Then he walked to the circle and stood on it. Instanly, a boulder fell and crushed Kopa. He died.
" NOOOOOO!" Wail Rani. Then with a brust of sadness and anger. Rani broke free of the ropes and pounced on Herbwild.
Herbwild was startled. Then she pleaded Rani to spare her. Rani screamed no and cut her thoart. Herbwild died on the stop.
Then Rani went to Kopa's dead body and cried loudly. Kion and Surak also went and cried together with Rani.
Then they went home to break the news to the Tree of Life animals.
