When they reached the Tree of Life. Nirmala went out to meet them, at one look on their faces. She knew something was wrong.
"What's wrong?" she asked them as soon as they reached her.
" Kopa's gone." replied Sura kas he went over to give her a nuzzle.
" What!!!" Said Nirmala shocked, then she fainted.
Several hours later......
Nirmala opened her eyes and looked around.
"Where am I?" asked Nirmala, sitting up.
Surak rush over to her" You are in the Tree of Life, Nirmala. Kion and Rani went out to break the sad news to the Tree of Life animals."
"Too bad their relationship has to end this way. Tomorrow is their wedding, now tomorrow is Kopa's burial. Sighed Nirmala.
Kion and Rani entered the Tree. Kion said," The animals already know about Kopa's burial tomorrow."
"Good." said Surak," Let's sleep."
Everyone went to their usual places; Kion went to one corner of the Tree of Life with his Lion Guard, Surak and Nirmala on another corner, and Rani on the Royal Rock.
Rani cried softly," Kopa, if only you were here with me."
Suddenly, she heard Kopa's voice," I will always be with you."
Rani smiled and fell asleep.
The next day......
Surak and Kion got up early and push the boulder away from Kopa's body. Then, they carried it and put marigold on it to make it look better. Next, they put it beside a hole Rani had dug the night before.
Rani woke up and went outside. All the animals were there already, waiting for her. Rani went outside and said," Good morning, everyone."
The animals replied," Good morning, your Majesty."
Rani began her speech......
After she finish, Kion and Surak pushed Kopa's body into the hole and covered it with dirt. Then the ceremony is over.
Rani returned to the tree of life and saw Kion waiting for her. Kion said," Rani, I will always accompany you."
Rani smiles" Thanks, Kion."
"You are welcome." said Kion.
Then Rani went out to patrol and Kion stay back in the Tree, wondering how to make his own feelings out to Rani.
When nighttime, Rani returns home and found that everyone is asleep, she smiles and quickly hopped onto the Royal Rock. She loved nighttime, because she can see Kopa in her dreams.
