《 Day 4 | Continued 》
Rengoku smiled as he grabbed Y/n's hand and walked out of the room with them. "Well, no time to waste! Let's go, Y/n!" Y/n laughs a bit and hurries behind him, trying to keep up while he holds their hand. "No need to rush! We have all day!" Y/n says, smiling.
Rengoku slows down a bit, turning around to face Y/n. "Sorry, Y/n-" He says while chuckling. Y/n smiles and shakes their head a bit, "It's okay, don't worry. I'm excited too, but I'm not fully healed yet -" Y/n says to him.
Rengoku's face softens a bit, "I forgot about that too - I'm so sorry y/n-" He says, laughing a bit as they continue to walk hand in hand. Y/n can't help but laugh a bit too, "It's fine, don't worry, Rengoku." They say while smiling softly.
As Y/n and Rengoku leave the Butterfly mansion, Y/n finally gets to be outside for the first time since they were in that fight. Y/n takes a deep breath in, still following behind Rengoku as he walks.
《 Time skip | To Cherry Blossom Grove 》
Rengoku finally slows down as they begin to reach a small Grove a bit in the mountains. Y/n gazes at the wooden arch with vines intertwined about. Rengoku turns around yo face Y/n and smiles, "Here we are!" He says, gesturing to the wooden arch, with a pathway full of Cherry Blossom trees visible just beyond.
Y/n's eyes light up as they stare in awe at the Grove. "Whoa..." They mutter quietly, slowly walking towards it with Rengoku. "How is this place not full to the brim?" Y/n says to Rengoku, looking around with wide eyes at the cherry blossoms as they walk in past the arch.
"Well, not many know of this spot... As you can tell." He says, chuckling a bit. Then, a small gust of wind murmurs through the air, blowing cherry blossom petals through the air. Y/n walks ahead of Rengoku a bit, reaching out to grab one of the soft-falling petals.
Rengoku chuckles and smiles a bit, "Well, you seem to be enjoying this." He says, walking over to Y/n and carefully taking out some of the petals that fell onto Y/n's head. Y/n turns to face him, smiling with cupped hands that have a few cherry blossom petals in them.
Y/n nods and smiles widely, "Mhm! This spot is beautiful..." They say, while blowing away the cherry blossom petals they caught back into the air. Rengoku chuckles a bit, ruffling Y/n's hair ever so slightly, "I knew you would like it here."
Y/n blushes slightly at his gesture, nodding a bit. "Thank you for taking me here... I really do love it.." Y/n says, leaning against Rengoku a bit and smiling. Rengoku smiles back, blushing ever so slightly, too. "Of course! I can take you here every day possible if you wish." He says enthusiastically.
Y/n shakes their head, smiling softly. "Oh, but it won't be special if we go every day, will it now?" Rengoku nods his head, a slightly disappointed look on his face, "Thats true..." He sighs a bit, looking back to the cherry blossoms trees. "Well, then let's enjoy this special moment then, hm?" He says while turning to face Y/n, pulling them in for a hug.
Y/n is confused for a moment but eventually hugs him back tightly into a warm embrace. Rengoku rests his head on top of Y/n's, smiling as he holds them gently. Y/n leans into him a bit more, resting their head on his chest while the cherry blossoms gently fall around them.
Rengou hums quietly, while the soft sun light shines onto them through the cherry blossom trees. They stay in the embrace for what feels like forever before Rengoku pulls away. He looks down to Y/n, smiling softly with an endearing look in his eyes.
Y/n smiles back before grabbing his hand and beginning to walk through the Grove with him. Rengoku smiles, going along with Y/n without objection. As they walk along the pathway through the Grove, Y/n pauses to catch a few cherry blossom petals in their hand. They lift up their hand, trying to catch some of the falling pale pink petals.
Then, Rengoku moves his hand up, intertwining his with Y/n's. Y/n looks back at Rengoku with a bit of surprise in their eyes. Rengoku smiles at Y/n softly, and they can't help but smile back, adjusting their hand to more comfortably hold his.
Y/n squeezed Rengoku's hands in theirs while smiling. Then, Y/n spins Rengoku around a bit before pulling him in for a tight hug. Rengoku is caught a bit off guard but hugs Y/n tightly back while chuckling a bit. Y/n pulls away from the embrace, letting go of his hands and humming as they walk through the Grove, almost skipping.
Rengoku watches Y/n with a smile before chuckling to himself a bit and beginning to follow behind them. "What was that for?" Rengoku asks Y/n, saying the first words after a little while of silence between them. Y/n stops walking, turning back to face Rengoku while smiling. "No reason. I just wanted to give you a hug." They say while shrugging, smiling widely. Rengoku tilts his head to the side slightly in confusion before shaking his head a bit and smiling back at Y/n.
Rengoku walks up to Y/n, holding their hand in his once more and walking next to them through the Grove. Y/n hums quietly while smiling as they walk together, cherry blossoms falling softly all around them.
