《 Day 1 》
Y/n sleepily woke up to Rengoku gently shaking them. "Good morning! Or, rather, good afternoon." Rengoku says to y/n chuckling a bit and smiling. Y/n yawns a bit and stretches, turning to face Rengoku and smiling. "Good morning to you too." They say, sitting up in the bed.
"Are you feeling better today?" Rengoku asks y/n, looking them up and down and inspecting them a bit. "Hmm... Well, I feel a bit less sore. But it has only been a day, so I haven't had much time to heal up." Y/n glances down at some of the medical tape still wrapped around them. Rengoku chuckles a bit, "Of course. Healing takes time, but I'll make sure to be here along the way." Rengoku nudges y/n shoulder a bit, smiling.
"Also, do you have any flowers you particularly like?" Rengoku asks y/n, tilting his head a bit. Y/n pauses to think for a moment before looking back up at Rengoku. "Well, I quite like spider lillies.. And cherry blossoms." Rengoku nods, "Wonderful, I'll keep that in mind. Isn't it going to be cherry blossom season soon? If you're healed up enough, would you like me to go take you to see some?" Rengoku asks y/n, sitting down on the edge of their bed next to them. Y/n's eyes light up, and they nod, "Yes, please! I would love to!" Rengoku chuckles a bit, "Well, then I'll make sure to take you to see some. I know a beautiful spot."
《 Day 2 》
Y/n wakes up on their own, slowly blinking awake in the early morning light. The sun is still rising, and the sky is an ombre of pastel colors with clear skies. Y/n yawns a bit, sitting up in the bed. They glance over to the small bedside table next to it, seeing the medication placed there for them along with a glass of water. They quickly down the medicine, gagging a bit at the taste. "Eugh... So gross..." They mumble to themselves, drinking the water to try and wash down the taste. Then, the doorknob to y/n's room rattles a bit, and someone opens the door.
Rengoku peeks into the room, smiling when he sees y/n awake. "Good morning! You woke up early today, huh?" He says, stepping into the room and holding something behind his back. Y/n smiles and nods, "Yeah, im still a bit drowsy." Then, y/n notices him hiding something behind his back, "Whats that?" They ask him, gesturing to his arms hiding the item behind his back. He chuckles a bit, walking over to y/n's nightstand and placing down a beautiful bouquet of flowers in an intricately designed vase.
"Well, I thought it would be nice to get you some flowers!" He says, smiling widely as he sits down on the edge of y/n's bed. Y/n looks at the bouquet of vibrant red spider lillies, with a striking blue one in the middle, the bouquet also adorned with foliage to match, and subtle dew drops. They can't help but smile and lean in to hug Rengoku. "They're beautiful. Thank you." Rengoku chuckles a bit, hugging y/n back. "No worries, you're welcome, y/n!" Y/n smiles as they pull away from the hug to admire the bouquet once more.
Y/n reaches out to gently caress the petals of the bright blue spider lily in the middle of the bouquet. They look at it with a sense of awe and admiration, taking in the beauty. "Where did you find a spider lily with this color..? It's beautiful.." Y/n says, glancing over to Rengoku while smiling softly.
"Hm? Oh, that one?" Rengoku leans in and gestures to the blue spider lily, smiling. "Well, when I was picking these flowers, I stumbled across a patch of them. I thought they looked beautiful and that you would like them!" Y/n can't help but smile back, blushing slightly. "Thank you... It is beautiful." Y/n says in a bit of a bashful voice.
《 Day 3 》
Y/n wakes up to someone nudging their arm. "Hey... hello... you awake, Y/n?" A soft voice murmurs, trying to wake them up. Y/n blinks a few times before sitting up in the bed. They yawned a bit before smiling at Rengoku, "Well, good morning to you too.." They say, chuckling a bit. Rengoku smiles widely back at them, "You're finally awake!" He says excitedly, chuckling a bit. Y/n nods, still a bit drowsy.
"Now that you're awake.. how well are you healed up yet? Can you walk?" Rengoku sits on the side of the bed, tilting his head slightly. Y/n nods and says, "Yeah, I can walk. Why?" Y/n has a hint of curiosity. I'm their voice, tilting their head back at Rengoku. Rengoku smiles and chuckles a bit, "Well, I was wondering if you have enough energy to go see some cherry blossoms with me tomorrow!"
"Cherry blossoms..?" Y/n sounds a bit skeptical, but a bit delighted at the offer. "Mhm! I know a small private space with some beautiful cherry blossom trees!" Rengoku says, smiling and leaning in a bit. Y/n nods and smiles back, "Of course I'll go with you. How could I refuse?" Y/n nudges Rengoku's arm slightly, still smiling softly.
Rengoku nods enthusiastically, "Well, then I'll be here to get you around mid day tomorrow! Make sure to be ready!" He smiles at Y/n, taking their hands in his. Y/n nods back, smiling a bit wider now as they glance down at their hands being held in his.
《 Day 4 》
Y/n wakes up early, yawning in the soft light of dawn. They glance out the window, listening to the birds endlessly singing. They groggily crawled out of bed, stretching as their feet hit the ground. Y/n looks around the room a bit before they walk over to their clothes, neatly folded on a small table near the window.
They grab the folded clothes, inspecting them a bit. Y/n smells the clothes, and a sweet aroma of vanilla and floral scents envelop them. They unfold the clothing, carefully taking off the plain white clothing given to them by the butterfly mansion.
They slip on their uniform, adjusting the belt and slipping the hilt of their katana into it. Y/n gazes at their katana for a moment, checking for any imperfections before sliding it into the hilt. They grab their dark blue haori, with the light blue gradient at the bottom, along with pale yellow stars dotted about. They adjust the uniform once more until it's comfortable and then go to eat breakfast.
《 Time skip : Mid day 》
Y/n sits on their bed, staring at the ceiling and spacing out. Then, they hear a knock on their door, along with Rengoku's voice calling out, "Y/n? Are you in here?" Y/n quickly jumps up, hurrying over to the door." "Yes! I'm coming!" They call out as they hurry to the door.
Y/n opens it up to see Rengoku's smiling face, and they can't help but smile back. "Are you ready to go?" He asks, tilting his head a bit. Y/n nods, quickly putting on their shoes and heading out the door with Rengoku.
