Since you weren't getting an answer, you believed he was asleep and decided to head back in.

"Stay here"

"Huh ?" You halted in your steps and turned back to him, seeing him move a few centimeters to the side and tapping the spot beside him.

"Have you ever sat underneath a tree before ?"

"..."

"Well, I suppose that is a no." He stayed silent, seeming to contemplate for a minute, before he extended his hand to you "Come"

You stared at him longer, hesitant and your feet tripping on each other. But you moved forward. You placed your hand into his, guiding you down to sit on the grassy patched floor. Your other grazed the surface, shivering by the cold touch of the soil. Slowly you grew used to the texture, your shoulders relaxing as the breeze gently caressed your face.

"So ?"

You tilted your head up to see his small smile on his face, looking away immediately with a small blush.

'This man had such a beautiful smile' You thought.

"It is, indeed, beautiful" You smiled warmly as you looked in front of you, capturing the morning landscape. You felt...at peace. It was quiet yet loud. The sound of the grass whittling from the wind hitting each patch and the chirping of the small dark blue birds that perched above your head. The colours brought life to the green scenery, from reds, to blues, and white. Looking around you, your eyes caught something that made them sparkle brighter than anything before.

Just there, a few meters away, was a small pond, and in the pond were flowers you have always dreamed of seeing, but only could trace the paintings with your finger on the temple's walls.

Lotus Flowers. And just like the books you read said, they were opening up to the Sun.

You seem to be unaware of the man's frown beside you. Zoro was thinking to himself, a question that lingered in his mind. When would other Gods decide to pop up ? He knew them all, meaning the ones that shouldn't even be allowed to dare walk on this land. He was aware of the cruel acts they have brought to the mortals and the damages they have caused. It was all for their own greed. He knew himself and it was no surprise he grab onto this opportunity to walk away, where he could escape it all.

In a blissful aspect, both of you shared something in common. A want of freedom.

Unbeknownst to him, his eyes traveled to you and his attention was now drawn to what could make you look so vivid. Just then, he noticed the pond nearby, more directly at the white-pinkish flowers.
