Luna Hex is your average teenage girl.. Or is she?..
Luna strolls down the street. She carefully steps onto cracked sidewalk, scrolling through her phone.
"What is that..?" Donovan says as he catches a glimpse of what appears to be a 'strange creature'.
"I believe that's a human, Donovan.." Ma'an replies.
Dillon chimes in as well, "Ma'an is correct.. That is a human. They're native to this.. Realm."
Donovan seems to get visibly annoyed. "Oh yeah..." He says, smiling like an idiot, "Never heard of them." He says, crossing his arms and turning away like a toddler.
"We should talk to her.." Ma'an says, "She could help us on our mission." Donovan looks at him.
"I'm the leader," He says, stating the obvious.
"Your point?" Ma'an says, giving Donovan an irritated glare. Donovan rolls his eyes.
"I call the shots, then." Donovan says. Ma'an starts walking over to Luna.
"Yeah," He mumbles, "Some leader you are."
"Excuse you?" Donovan asks warningly. His eyes glowing a slight eerie red, "I am the king.. Of demons! Of you?!" He yells, not enough for other people to hear them clearly, though. Handen grabs ahold of Donovan's shoulder.
"He's got a point, Donovan." Handen says, "You want to save your kingdom.. Correct? Lets just do it.." He says, suggestively. He looks Donovan in the eyes, then to Ma'an who's already almost to the girl, then back to Donovan. Handen jogs over to Ma'an as he reaches the human teen.
Dillion sighs, "And he went over to her anyways.." He says, "What an idiot." Dillion says as he shakes his head and mentally facepalms.
"Hello.. Ma'am?" Ma'an says. He glances over his shoulder as he sees Handen jogging over to him. He turns his head to look back at the girl.
"Mhm..?" She says, taking out an earbud. "Yes? Do you need anything?" She says, a kind, cheerful smile slowly makes its way onto her face.
"Uh.. Me and my friends need some help.." Ma'an says. "We have a mission. Could we stay with you for a while?" He asks with a smile before glancing behind him again, seeing his friends making their way over to the three.
Donovan walks up to Ma'an, whispering in his ear, "You. Are. An. Idiot."
Luna ignores the rest, and continues talking to Ma'an. "Well... Of course! I'm honestly surprised you asked me. Everyone runs away from me for some reason. Anyways! Follow me, and don't forget your friends!" She says excitedly. Waving her hand, gesturing for them to follow her as she continues walking the way she had been. As the group walks to Luna's apartment, she hears one of the guys muttering quite loudly.
"We really don't need help from a girl. If we wanted some help, then why not ask a guy? They're probably much more capable than.. That thing." Donovan says. He sighs somewhat loudly and rolls his eyes.
She immediately stops in her tracks. She quickly spins around and walks towards Donovan. "Would you like to repeat that?" She asks, looking visibly annoyed. People surrounding area quickly walk away in fear. Donovan kneels slightly and looks down at her.
"Awh. Did you not hear me?" He said in a mocking voice and rolls his eyes once more, "I said.. If we wanted help.. We would've asked a guy. Not some helpless girl such as you."
Luna slaps him, "Look. I don't give a fu.. A Damn. Your friend asked for help, so help is what you're going to get. You know what? You can sleep outside for all I care?!" She says, her voice progressively getting louder. "You piss me off."
Donovan laughs at her reaction. "You really are pathetic." He says, his face going from laughing to a resting bitch face in a matter of seconds. Luna, who's basically fuming, cracks her knuckles and knocks Donovan out.
"Who's pathetic now?" She whispers, leaning over Donovan's now knocked out body. She turns to continues walking until she hears him saying 'still you'.
She turns back around, "GODDAMNIT! GOD! Your friends asked for help, I'll give you help for your mission or whatever. You'll get out of my apartment. Good? Okay." She yells out in frustration. She grabs his arm, throwing him over her shoulder as she continues to walk to her apartment.
