Ch 6: poison

"yeah... I have my own sword" jumping and running then hit someone, he look up, "Mother" he said as he bowed.

"Rana, what happened? Why the sudden expression when you see me coming toward you?"

"Nothing Mother, I was just surprise that all"

"I know you're angry at me a moment ago, am sorry"

"Am not angry, I understand, you wanted to sent Liam home away from the sun"

"Will you see your brother?"

"Of course" he said and drop the wooden sword.

"Let go, Liam will be happy to see his big brother" extend her hand and prince Ericson held it then they walk toward her bed chamber.

Princess Aurora step in and look down, "this is Rana wooden sword" as she pick it up,"where is he?" Looking around.

They both enter the room, Uma is carrying prince Leon. "Your highness" she bowed,"he is asleep now."

"Give him to me" the queen said as Uma return him to his mother and leave the room.

"Rana, please stay with us for the night"

"Of course, mother, I want to spend more time with my little brother"

She place him on the bed while prince Leon open his eyes,"Mother, he is awake now"

"Stay with him. Give him some water from that cup. I will be back" she said and walk to the door then turn to look at prince Ericson playing with the little prince and walk out of the room.

Queen Zora was stop by Princess Aurora, she bowed,"you look worry what is the matter?"

"Rana is not in his room, I have looked everywhere for him"

"He is with me. He will be staying with me tonight in my room"

Princess Aurora touch her heart, "am happy he is safe. Mother, should I visit my little prince now"

"No, princess, tomorrow come and see him, its getting dark"

She bowed then smile,"okay mother"

Queen Zora watch as she walk out of her presence,"tomorrow will be fun, princess Aurora" she murmured with a smirk.

Queen Zora get back to her room to see prince Leon playing,"Mother, I gave him the water in the cup and immediately he started playing"

"Good, it time for his bath. Guards!!" She called out and two guards enter the room,"sent Uma to bring Liam warm water for bathing" she ordered.

They bowed and leave the room, not too long Uma bring the bathing water and pour it into the basin, she was surprised to see prince Ericson in the queen room.

"He will be staying with us" she said making Uma to react in a certain way, that is uneasy.

The sun is bright outside as the birds sing to light up the atmosphere, in the room, Princess Aurora sitting watching her brother sleep.

Prince Ericson slowly open his eyes, strench his hands, legs and head "Rana, you are awake" princess Aurora said.

He stop and glance at his sister then look around, "how did I get here, I was in Mother room, I watch her bath Liam and put him to sleep"

"I don't know either" then a cry make them stand up,"what is that?"

"Is coming from Mother bed chamber" Princess Aurora replied as they run out of the room.

The queen is holding her baby crying, prince Ericson and his sister hush into the room, seeing the king and Uma.

"Father" they bowed.

He glance at the baby, all his body is cover with red mark. Prince Ericson held his mouth,"Father what is that?"

"We don't know, the physician is coming"

Immediately the physician enter the room and hurry to the queen, she was still crying and the physician carry the baby into his arm and examine him.

"What is that? Tell me" the king asked.

He give the boy back to his mother,"he was poison"

"What!! My son was with me the whole day no one touch him except from Uma and Rana"

"Your majesty, we need to act fast, the poison has enter his body"

"Do what can be done to cure my son"

"Yes, your majesty. The priestless inform me on time and give me this antidote used it to bath the prince and a little in his mouth before he goes to bed"

"Thank you, physician" then drop a little into prince Leon mouth.
