Prince Ericson open his eyes to see a girl starting at him, he jump up,"who are you? Am I dead?"
The girl smile,"you're awake and you are alive." She run out to bring a man,"Father, he us awake"
"You're awake" about to touch him but prince Ericson move backward which make him fall to the ground. The little girl run to help him, prince Ericson stop her,"I know, you're scare but we were the one that save you from that ocean, you're bless, anyone can't survive from that river but you did"
Prince Ericson look around, this place is different from the palace although they are poor but the room is clean then he look at the girl and her father.
"I'm Dara, this is my father, what is yours"
"Rami" he said immediately without thinking, he need to hide his identity in order to survive, "why do you jump into the ocean and where are your parents"
He know, more questions will come but he has to silent them "am an orphan, I has no one, aunt, uncle, grandparents and no friends. I was tired of living then I decided to kill my self" he lied.
"Do you think killing your self will change anything, the world has always be unfair, you have to accept it to change your destiny. choose your destiny with your own hands. We will be your family from today"
Prince Ericson eyes widened,"don't even think of killing yourself again" Dara said.
"Come with me,let me introduce you to my family" Dara said as she grab his hand but he stop her,"thank you for saving my life but right now I want to be left alone"
"Let him be, Dara" her father said and walk out.
Dara glance at prince Ericson before leaving the room.
In the palace, parents and children are invited to princess Aurora birthday, all the guests are seated with there children and Princess Aurora is in front of the king.
"Happy birthday, my child, today you are twelve years old, tell me your wish and I the king, your father will grant it"
Princess Aurora smile,"thank you, father, today mark the second week that my brother, your son went missing or dead." Everyone face turn pale as they hear the sentence.
She glance at queen Zora carrying her son in her arm,"but it okay, it is in the past, my wish is that I want to be a sword master"
The guest look at each other as they murmured, immediately children were sent out by their mothers.
"You're a princess and light to Tasara kingdom it is not right to hold a sword" one of the minister said.
"Please, Princess Aurora, listen to us, it is against the law"
"She have the right to choose" a voice speak out as they turn to see the priestless coming toward them, all the ministers bowed their head.
"Your majesty, listen to your daughter, that is her choice, grand it"
The king stand up, came down to meet his daughter, "Princess Aurora, your wish is granded, tomorrow, you will be moving to Drew-dom academy where my younger brother Ricardo will be your master"
"Thank you, father" she said with a wide smile then turn her gaze on queen Zora and frown.
"Bring in all the children, let finish the celebration with my daughter"
Prince Ericson finally came out, he look around then said, "the sky is beautiful, happy birthday, sister Kitana"
Then a wooden sword fly from no where and drop in front of him. He look down and pick up the sword.
Dara run to him,"finally, you came out"
He glance at her"How old are you?"
Dara smile and said,"am ten"
"Which make me one year younger than you"
"It doesn't matter, we are friends"
"Friends!" the prince chucked,"you smiled" Dara scream out.
"We are friends from today" he said with a smile then extend his hand to Dara and she accepted it.
He look at the sword in his hands,"I want to be a sword master" prince Ericson said.
"You can practice with my daughter Dara, I will be your master"
Prince Ericson fall on his knees and bowed his head to the gound,"Master" he said as the man replied, "stand up"
He obey then hold the necklace on his neck, sister Kitana wait for me.
