Alizea

"Good morning beautiful" I said to Yasmine, propping my phone up as I opened my laptop to write down my weekly to-do list. This was something that Yas had forced me to start doing to better my time management because between classes and practices, it was hard to make time for everyone and everything.

"Zea be foreal" she said wiping the crust out her eyes with her pink bonnet crooked on top of her head.

"Baby, you look good no matter what. Imma always let you know that" I said as a smile crept on her face. One thing that I learned about this young lady is that she is beautiful as fuck and I love reassuring her. She isn't insecure at all but receives and appreciates all the compliments that he give her.

I also learned that she loves to start her morning with me even though we aren't in the same room, so we have facetimed every morning to reset for our days.

"You are so good to me" she said smiling as I watched her begin to move to prepare for her day.

"That's always" I said smiling back. We talked as she walked back and forth from her bedroom to her bathroom.

"Ooooh mama was talking about bringing me to one of your games. Is that okay?" I stopped writing in my planner to look at her.

If she thought that I wouldn't love to see her cheering for me in the stands and being able to come to her after the game is over, then she was crazy.

"What Zea?" she said noticing him not moving.

"You know damn well I want that baby girl" she giggled slightly propping her phone up as she sat down at her vanity. She took her bonnet off, beginning to unbraid her hair.

"I miss you" she said with this sad expression.

Yasmine has told me multiple times that she would have never imagined that her first ever relationship would be a long distance one. Being able to talk to each other was great , but being able to hug her and kiss her was a whole different ball game that was fun and fast paced. It's full of double double stats along with a 100 point lead.

Our relationship was a good one that has became more and more balanced as time went on. We have our moments, but we always come back.

"I miss you too Yas" I said in a sigh.

"Why is this so hard?" she asked.

"I don't know. You'll be done with school soon. Come see me"

"I will especially since LSU invited me to watch the track team this summer. What if I went there?"

"I would be happy. I would spend all my free time with you. We would be able to go on dates. We be able to fully be together" I said.

"What if we break up?" she said avoiding looking at the phone.

"That's not in my plans and I hope that's not in yours"

"Nah baby. I'm yours Alizea" she said looking at me.

"I love you Yasmine"

"I love you too Alizea"

We continued to talk and prepare for our day.

Ajarie

"Hey Jarie"

"Hey auntie Lil" I said to my lovely auntie Lillian as I carried Malani and her carrier separately because for some reason, today, this car seat was the worst thing ever. She cried the whole ride here as she sat buckled in my backseat. However, once she touched my arms, she was silent.
