"Ok, I think that's enough training for now," I said when I beat Annie for the fourth time, "Let's go wait in front of the Hermes cabin and read or something."
"Yeah, I'm tired to and I could go with some reading let's go wait there for Chiron." Annabeth said.
"Cool let's go." I said grabbing her hand and running to the cabins
"Can we not run for five minutes!" She screamed at me from behind,
"Nope, we have to keep our fitness up if we want to go on a quest!" I screamed back as we reached the Hermes cabin and sat down on the front steps. Annabeth sat down next to me and pulled a book out of her bag and started reading it while I just started jumping up and down the steps because I still had way to much energy still.
After a little while I saw Chiron and Percy approaching us, "Oh, look," I heard him say. "Alexandra and Annabeth are waiting for us." Once he said that Annabeth put down her book and I gave a very over exaggerated wave to them. Chiron waved back as he normally does, and I saw Percy hesitate but wave back as well. When they reached us, Annabeth was looking at Percy very critically, like she was gonna say he drooled a lot again. I saw Percy try to look at what she was reading but probably wasn't able to since, I heard Chiron say he had dyslexia. But I doubt he would have been able to read it anyway it was in Greek and I don't think he could speak Greek.
"Annabeth, Alexandra," Chiron said to us, "I have masters' archery class at noon. Would you take Percy from here?"
"Yes, sir" Annabeth replied,
"Of course Chiron." I said
"Cabin eleven," Chiron told Percy, gesturing towards the doorway. "Make yourself at home." I saw Percy looking in, he looked kind of scared. Chiron obviously didn't go in since he was way too big for the doorway.
"Well, then," he said. "Good luck, Percy. I'll see you at dinner." Then he galloped away towards the archery range and I again over exaggerated a wave and he did the same.
After a while of Percy just looking in I got bored and Annabeth probably did too because she said "Well? Go on." When Percy tried going in he tripped going in the door, I chuckled a bit, with some of the Hermes kids laughing too, then followed behind with Annabeth behind me.
"Percy Jackson, meet cabin eleven."
"Jackson?" I asked, I was really confused, this kid comes out of no where, defeats a Minotaur and has the same last name as me, there is something weird about this.
"Yeah, Jackson." Percy said looking weirdly at me.
"Regular, or undertermined?" someone asked.
"Undertermined." Once Annabeth said that the Hermes kids all groaned.
Then Luke came out, "Now, now, campers. That's what we're here for. Welcome, Percy. You can have that spot on the floor, right over there." he said while pointing to the corner near were I was standing.
"This is Luke," Annabeth said, her voice had that tone that you can only ever hear when she's near Luke and I couldn't help but smirk at her and I could tell she was blushing.
"He's your counsellor for now." I finished for her.
"For now?" Percy asked.
"You're undertermined," Luke explained patiently. "They don't know what cabin to put you in, so you're here. Cabin eleven takes all newcomers, all visitors. Naturally, we would. Hermes, our patron, is the god of travellers." Percy looked next to me at the section of floor he had been given, then at the campers'.
