"Wait," Crisck Long-Beard whispered, "Take my two boys."
"Where," asked his housecarl.
"Vidklfar, you take Thrynn to Cyrodill, to live with you, take good care of him. And Andebarn, take Strofdir to Riften to live with you." Long-Beard ordered, "When they are twenty winters old, bring them together." As the two housecarls left the house through secret passages, they could hear their Thane fighting off the bandits, as they raided his house.
Andebarn ran as fast as he could to the nearest town, it was Rorikstead. He went up to a Whiterun guard and told them about the bandit raid. They told him to tell the Jarl, he wasn't quite sure he was able to do so. He had a baby, only a fortnight old. And the journey from Rorikstead to Whiterun was at least four nights long.
"Well, thank you sir, is there a place where I may rest my head," Andebarn asked.
"Yes, the Frostfruit Inn is over there," the guard replied, "it's ran by Mralki, he has a son too, a youngling, like yours." Andebarn walked into the Inn, and asked for a room. The next morning, he bought some food for the journey, and some drink. And asked the Innkeeper if he could borrow the horse.
He mounted the horse with the child, and rode off to Whiterun. The first night, he didn't sleep, he rode until the next night. Though that night was his last. Riding on the road he saw a traveler in the distance. He seemed friendly, he passed by the man and thought to himself on how much that man looked like the leader of the bandits. Just then he dismounted the horse, and remembered what the Innkeeper had said, "This horse is special, it knows its way to Whiterun, just slap it on its back and it will run there."
Andebarn smacked the horse, and watched it go. The traveler turned around and pulled out his sword.
"You should not have done that sir," the traveler said, "he needs to die. But I will slay you first."
"You'll never get your hands on him," as long as I stand, "he will fulfill his quest." Andebarn drew out his sword and fought the man. He swung the sword from the right, it ripped the bandits cloak. The bandit stabbed forward, he missed. Their swords clashed, again and again, Andebarn was proving to be a challenge towards the bandit. But finally, the bandit slashed at Andebarn's left leg, he fell to the ground.
With the tip of his sword on Andebarn's throat he said, "Any last words, nord?"
"They will find you, they will demolish your clan. You wi-" Andebarn was cut off with the blade going through his throat. The bandit left, leaving a dead body in a pool of blood, for any unlucky guard to find.
