Hoshi's POV

"Damn man! You shouldn't do that to Yerin. Now I know why she's keeping her distance from me either," I said to Jun/Uno, who's sitting across the studio with his face down.

Then Dino and Hao (Minghao, my dear friends and readers) went inside the studio too, witnessing the down atmosphere inside.

"Hey guys, what's with this emo-looking atmosphere? We're not used to this, right, Hao?" Dino tapped Hao, and Hao nodded.

"It's my first time to see Uno like that. What happened, bros?" Hao asks, and he sits beside Uno. But he didn't say a response; instead, he got up and left us in the studio.

"First time," Dino started. "Me either," Hao followed. I just shook my head and stood up.

"I'm just going somewhere," I said, leaving them behind too.

It's not that I'm mad at Uno, but it's too upsetting to know how he treated Yerin, and Yerin is a special friend to me. It's a given to feel this disappointment with Uno.

Not minding what he said earlier, I went to the canteen and found a place to stay or eat, depending on my appetite.

I was about to grab the chair when someone placed a tray on the opposite side.

"Mind if we share this table?" I froze at this moment.

This voice. I stared first at her meal, then at her hand, all the way up to her face.

"Yuju?" I said in a low voice, shocked to see her here.

"Huh?" she asked, but didn't mind it because she had already taken a seat. She's too graceful. I wonder if she's being raised to be this kind of prim and proper, like a lady or a princess.

"Hey, please take your seat. Please don't make me feel bad. I don't have any other choice, or do you want me to?"

"N-no. I'm okay with it."

"Okay, great. Thank you," she said, then started to eat her meal. My eyes didn't leave her. I'm aware that I'm staring at her, and I hope it's not too obvious.

"Believe me, you're obvious," she said, then stared so directly into my eyes that I almost fell out of my chair. This is too embarrassing!

"Sorry." She continues to eat while I keep glancing at her.

"I'm fine, Yuju, by the way. You're Hoshi, right? I heard a lot of things about you."

"Really?"

"Yeah," she said, then put down her utensils, stood up, and picked up her own tray. Definitely done with her meal and going to leave me.

"I'm done. Thanks for accompanying me. See you around," she said, then headed to the main kitchen, gave her tray, and left.

I didn't expect to have a conversation with Yuju. Was it obvious that I'm turning into somebody that I am not familiar with? Like my inner self is probably showing when Yuju is around? I don't have any idea. This is how I act when she's near me. And she knows me. She knows my name. I'm beyond happy. I sound gay, but I don't care. I am happy.

It was time to go back to the studio when I saw Yerin heading my way.

I smiled and was about to greet her, but I think she is in a deep thought, I guess, because she didn't notice me.

I grab her hands and head to the studio. I don't know what happened between her and Uno, but I guess they need to talk to each other.

"Yah! Where are you taking me?" Yerin shouted, but I didn't reply. Of course, you're going to meet Jun. Hehehe

"Yerin?" My eyes became wider when I heard a familiar voice, and I stopped grabbing Yerin. I-it's... Yuju.

"Yerin? Oh, it's really you. I thought I heard someone else." Then she looked at me, and I released Yerin's arm as fast as I could, then looked away.

"Oh, it's you again, Hoshi." She pointed at me, and I saw her smile. I feel the hotness of my cheeks. I can't look at her, but I can still see her smile in my vision. She's so cute with her smile.

"Yuju, thank God you appeared out of nowhere," Yerin said, holding Yuju's arm.

"Why?"

But Yerin held my arm and placed Yuju's arm in my hand. What is she doing?

"Huh?" Yuju said.

"Good. Hoshi needs someone to tutor him for the upcoming national exam. I have no time to teach him since I got too many extracurriculars this semester. I hope you can help him, Yuju. I'm going now. Bye!" And with that, Yerin sprinted away until we couldn't see her.

I looked at Yuju's face, and she caught me looking at her. Then I realize that I'm still holding her arm; that's why I let it go immediately.

"I'm sorry for that. That is not true at all. I'm afraid that I'm disturbing you. You can go now. I'm good. Sorry." This is awkward.

I'm about to leave when she holds my arm, and that stops me from moving. I look at her, and here comes her angelic smile again.

"Mind if you can join me? I thought Yerin could accompany me, but I guess she can't. So... is it okay with you?"

I nod. I mean, how can I refuse her? No way. It's too hard for me. I don't know what to do, and I know things will be awkward, but it's Yuju who asked me. Why should I say no? I've been chasing her ever since, but this is the first time I got to talk to and hold her. I think this would be a good start.

And I owe Yerin for this.
