But as Shibuya grew quiet and her heart vibrated louder than its soundless roads, mourning for the parts of her soul that had disappeared along the rest of Tokyo's population, Chiasa realized that a false step could mean a freefall to the void, where not even a thousand mornings would be able to light up her home's path like fireworks had done the day everything turned upside down.
