"Joy? Honey? Changmin said you're having a crisis." There was a soft knock on my bedroom door.

"I'm not—having a crisis," I answered, though I was swamped in all the clothes I was ripping out from my closet.

"He said you might be," Changmin's mom slowly opened the door. "Can't decide what to wear?"

"Nothing looks right," I flopped onto my bed.

My own mom came in and stood next to Lana in the doorway.

"maybe I just shouldn't go." I said.

"You're being dramatic." My mom said. She picked up a flowery sun dress off the floor and threw it at me. "Wear this."

I tossed it back to her. "Too fancy for the movies."

"Fine then," My mom said. "I'm gonna check on Changmin."

When she left, Lana kneeled down and looked through my clothes. Eventually she convinced me of dark blue jeans with a red fitted off the shoulder sweater.

"Hair up or down?" I asked.

"Guys like when you have your hair up," She winked at me  before exiting my room.

I tied my hair into a messy ponytail and did some quick makeup. Suprisingly, I was ready faster than Changmin.

The moms and I waited at the bottom of the stairs for a few minutes before he finally came down. Wearing a dark blue knit sweater and white jeans.

"Stand here stand here!" Lana pushed us closer together and took a photo.

"It's so cute how you guys are going on your first dates together!" My mom said.

"It's not my first date mom," I said.

"I forgot about him," she said.

"That's because he's irrelevant," Changmin turned towards me. He reached up and fixed a strand of hair that was sticking up on my head.

"Good?" We asked each other at the same time.

Our moms weren't surprised. We had been spiritually connected since we were born.

"You look nice," I said, but suddenly those words sounded weird coming from my mouth. Was I allowed to say stuff like that to him?

"Thanks." He answered shortly. There was something awkward about his interaction, and it made my heart drop a bit. I didn't want this to be the end of our limitless friendship.

Before the silence could continue there was a knock on the door.

I went over to answer it, and saw Sunwoo standing there. His wavy hair was less messy today. He wore a white shirt under a blue zip up and black jeans.

"Hey." He glanced at my bare shoulder for a millisecond before smiling at me.

"Hi," I looked over my shoulder where Changmin was tying his white shoes. He had them for three years and they were still perfectly clean.

"Have fun you three," Lana waved.

"We will," I answered.

"I'll have her back at a reasonable time," Sunwoo gave my mom a charming smile.

I glanced at Changmin who narrowed his eyes at Sunwoo suspiciously.

"Oh I don't care," My mom waved him off before leaving the room. She really didn't care, because she knew Changmin and I never got into trouble.

When we got in the car, it took me a second before I realized I should sit in the back instead of the front. Heeji would be in the passenger's seat since Changmin was driving.
