Chapter Sixteen; Fight

SSundee turned away from Biffle and slipped his helmet on as the tentacles dragged him away. Biffle blinked and tried to push them away, but to no avail.

SSundee studied the portal, watching as the geode was brought out into the sunlight. When it had fully emerged, SSundee swiped his hand and the portal disappeared.

The creature inside eyed SSundee, then held up a wrist, showing off a metal band. SSundee tilted his head and raised his gauntlet towards the creature. The band glowed a vibrant red before disintegrating.

A shout erupted from behind SSundee. He whirled, locking his gaze on three figures soaring through the air towards him. He crouched into a battle stance. Just as the three admins were about to strike, a tentacle shot out of the ground and collided with the admins, knocking them all off course. Florian crashed near SSundee, groaning.

The two's eyes met, a spark of fear in Florian's. SSundee lashed out with his claws, narrowly missing Florian's face and the admin launched away. SSundee snapped towards where Florian had dodged to.

Florian lashed out with his sword, cutting through the armor on SSundee's shoulder. The spot stung and he winced, gritting his teeth as he raised a hand to the wound. He brought it back speckled with red. He snarled and snapped towards Florian, whose eyes widened.

He was about to lunge again when a force knocked him sideways. His helmet slipped off of his face and he blinked a few times. His eyes almost focused when a force met his cheek. SSundee hissed and wretched his arm free, grabbing at Rafessor. The man yelped as SSundee lurched and threw him off.

SSundee staggered to his feet and reached for his helmet. A blast of ice collided with his outstretched hand. He grunted and turned, trying to shake off the ice. Frost lunged, wrapping his hands around SSundee's throat. The man snarled, trying to break from the sorcerer's grip as ice formed on his fingertips.

SSundee winced and lashed out with his arm, wrapping his claws around Frost's shoulder. Using his weight, he rolled and shoved Frost to the side and slammed his head into the ground. Frost twitched and yelped, fighting weakly against SSundee. SSundee released him and stood, searching for his next attacker.

He took his free opportunity to grab his helmet and fit back on his face, just as Florian dragged his sword across SSundee's other shoulder. He hissed and blindly lashed out, claws catching on flesh. Florian let out a pained grunt, staggering away. He gingerly touched the wound on his side

SSundee darted forward and slashed again, catching Florian's chest. Florian yelped and scrambled back, holding his sword out in front of him. A tentacle emerged from the ground beside Florian, snapping at his arm and causing him to drop his sword. Immediately, SSundee used his telekinesis to pull the sword out of Florain's reach and into the air, poised beside him.

Florian tried to stumble away, but the tentacle wrapped around his arm tighter and a second appeared to take his other arm. He struggled desperately against them until a third wrapped around his legs, holding him in place.

Florian looked up at SSundee, his teal eyes simmering with panic. SSundee observed the admin, twisting the sword in the air, inches in front of Florian's already bleeding chest.

"NO!" Rafessor shouted. SSundee briefly noted him as he took the blade in his hand and placed the tip against Florian's throat.

"SSundee," Biffle hissed, still being held back by tentacles, which he did not seem to care for as he shoved against them and locked eyes with SSundee.

SSundee lowered the sword, then spun on his heels and threw his hand towards Henwy, who dropped from the sky and attempted to tackle him. A tentacle released from Florian and collided sideways with Henwy, knocking him completely off course and causing him to crash to the ground. Florian sprang backwards as the tentacles redirected their attention to the avian and enderman who had now decided to join the fight.

Sigils, now sporting an elegant green and black robe, clawed at SSundee's side, trying to make it through the armor. Spikes jutted out of SSundee's arm as he snapped around and swung at Sigils, who ducked down and went to strike again, this time catching SSundee's wounded shoulder.

Tentacles rose from the earth, snapping wildly in the air and aiming for anything that moved. A tentacle wrapped around Sigils' foot and yanked him backwards. SSundee turned to look over at his house, which was being constructed into a large cave that towered over even the treehouse.

SSundee glanced at Sigils and Henwy who were hacking away at the tentacles that seemed to multiply each second. The tentacles folded away and started to create a tight wall around the cave. SSundee noticed Biffle getting dragged into the cave, shouting in frustration.

SSundee turned away from his rivals and strolled to the cave, walking past a struggling Biffle who shouted at SSundee as he passed. He stopped just inside of the cave and turned, meeting eyes with the Lvengers as the walls rose from the ground.
