the remainder of the day felt like a blur. everything everyone said to you went in one ear and out the other.
to make matters worse, every time you closed your eyes you could still see the crushing look on izuku's face.
but you continued to tell yourself that was alright; you thought this would be for the best. you could now face ochaco with no guilt or shame.
as you continued to think long and hard about what happened, told yourself that your breakup with izuku was inevitable. your relationship was moving fast. you had never been in a relationship before, but you didn't think it was normal to have feelings of love within three months of dating.
it was time for the honeymoon phase to end.
and if you were being honest to yourself, you knew that in the back of your mind you had no plans to tell izuku about your sickness.
so this was all for his own good. how could he be with someone who let their fear manipulate them into holding on to the truth? he deserved to be with someone who wore their heart on their sleeve. someone like ochaco.
