I saw Lenny from afar and couldn't help but smile. He's so cute. He seemed eager to tell me something. I stood for a bit and waited for him to reach me but I began to be embarrassed.

After all, I was standing in the middle of the hall doing nothing. It was kind of weird. Out of embarrassment I continue walking away. Lenny soon catches up to me and walks beside me.

"I have something to inform you." He says sweetly. "Yes?" I answer. "I got a love letter from someone." My heart thumps. The thought of someone giving a letter to Lenny worries me.

What if the girl or possibly boy who gave it to him is extremely attractive and sweet? He wouldn't think twice about going with them instead of me. I can't let that happen. Watch him with someone else.

"Oh. Who gave it to you?" I asked. "I'm not sure. B ur their name begins with an 'S'" There are only so many pretty girls who's name starts with an S. Stacy,Samantha , Sandra etc.

If it was any of them what would I do? I wouldn't stand a chance. "Are you going to try and find the person?" Lenny looked at me a little bit sad, I don't know why.

"No. I don't really mind about whoever wrote this towards me." He says with his selective vocabulary. It's so handsome. "Ok then." We continue the walk to my locker in silence.

If I'm right Lenny seemed a bit off. As in weird.

I'm back home and I'm doing my homework on my room. But it's kind of hard to do algebra when you're mind is on someone. I am waiting for a text from him. After school we usually text or call so I'm waiting for him to text first.

My brother Jackson walks in. "What's up!" He says in a cheery voice. "Nothing really." I answer. He sits on my bed. "It's Lenny isn't it." For some reason Jackson always know when something is up with me.

"He hasn't texted me yet. He usually does." He sighed. "You can't always expect for him to text first you know." He starts. "Maybe he wants you to text first." I shrugged. "Oh."

I don't think I've texted someone first. Ever. I just don't want to bother them if they're busy so I prefer if they want to talk to me they will in their own time. Maybe Lenny is just busy. I don't want to annoy him.

"I don't think I should." I told Jackson. "Alright. But you know Lenny's friend has been flirting with you lately." I'm a bit confused. "Who?" Jackson chuckles. "Travis." I sighed. "I guess he has been interested in me lately."

Suddenly the door creaks and I see a figure. Jackson walks up to open the door and sees Devon try to run away. "Devon. Really?" He laughs. "You guys never let me in the conversations at some point you gotta make the most with what you got."

I rolled my eyes. "But yk," Devon sits on my bed looking at me across my desk on the other side of my room. "I know Travis. He's a cool guy, you should give him a chance."

Jackson looks disgusted. "NO!" He yells. "Sara like Lenny. If he gives him a chance Lenny will get the wrong idea." He explains. "But she can't just wait around for a guy who's too up in his 'quantum physics' to notice her."

Jackson got up. "Just because he's a nerd it doesn't make him emotionally unavailable you don't even know him" Jackson protests. "Oh and you do?" Devon yells out.

"I don't know him but I know enough to understand he's a sweet guy. He would never break her heart." Devon sat up. "Yeah right. That's what you think. But once you let socially awkward people get even a feel of popularity they'll ditch you the chance they get."

After that sentence that sounded a bit personal that when I understood. Laya.

My brother used to go out with a nerd named Laya, she was pretty, nice. And when Devon and her made it official to everyone I guess you could say she changed.

The way she dressed, acted, talked even. Devon noticed that and try to talk to her but she was too busy secretly dating his bestfriend. I admit, should have said that so casually.

That's just how I speak. But anyways, the whole thing crushed him because he loved her. After that he never dated anyone again. I also think he has trust issues now but that's another discussion.

I dozed off that I didn't even realize Devon and Jackson were still fighting over my crush. It's funny how my problem is suddenly theirs. I check my phone hoping for a text and I see nothing.

Maybe he found out who the person who wrote the letter was. I sigh. "Guys. Stop fighting. You are killing my ear drums." I interrupted. They both sat back down.

"Give Travis a chance, Sara." Devon insisted. "Has Lenny texted you yet?" Jackson asked. They're starting to annoy me now. "Fine." I blurt out. "Alright! I'll text Lenny and I'll answer Travis's message. Good?"

"Now why didn't you answer Travis's message huh?" I shrugged. He just said "hey" I wasn't interested in talking to him. Jackson sighed and left. "Whatever." He closed the door on his way out.

Devon stayed though. "Answer already" he insisted.

Travis : hey
Me : hi

Travis is typing...

He saw the message quickly. He must've been online.

Travis : wydd
Me : hw, u?
Travis : I'm on yt
Travis : I just saw a trailer of a cool movie. Coming out this Friday.

What does that even mean? What is he leading to? Devon peaks at my phone. "Are you stupid? He probably wants to ask you out. Gimme that." He grabs the phone out of my hands.

Me : oh yeah? Which onee?
Travis : The exorcist, you know it ?
Me : yesss, I've been wanting to watch that.
Travis : if you're free this Friday we could go together. I'm paying.
Me : of coursee, I would love to. What time?
Travis : is 9 good for you?
Me : yh
Me : Igtg.. see u fridayy
Travis : byee

I don't know which I'm more shocked : my brother can type like a girl or this Friday I'm going out with Travis.
