New Year-New Trip~

I look at her with- what I hoped- was an expression of slight sympathy. "If you like me, why would you try to ruin my life?"

She paused like she needed to think about this. "I...Well. I didn't like people taking whats mine."

She glared at everyone-mainly Muichiro. Although, at that moment Muichiro stepped in front of me. "There must be a mistake here..." Muichiro started. I couldn't quite understand the look in his eyes. It was odd...I look at him with confusion.

"Because how can you have something..."

He stepped towards Madison and stood over her.

"...-That's already taken"

My eyes slightly widen when he said that. Was he referring to...

Madison suddenly ran off and left us standing there quietly. Muichiro turned back around and took a seat.

When we all sat down we ate quietly...until Yuichiro kicked my leg. "What?" I ask quietly. He sighs, "Well Y/n...is there...a history between you and Madison?"

I just shrug and look at everyone, "Honestly...shes always been fake around me. Acting sweet, then turning people against me. Now Aiden is another story...hes just rude."

My eyes suddenly lock with Muichiro's. Although the moment doesnt last long, as I look away quickly. "In that case, we'll do our best to help you with that situation" Tanjiro says. I couldnt help but smile...my past friends would just leave me. But they...they want to help me. "Thank you..."

*Time Skip-After school*

When school ended I met everyone at our usual spot out front-except...I would had-if someone hadn't stopped me.

I turn around to see Muichiro hold my wrist carefully. "Y/n...can I talk to you?"

This didn't seem good...he had not been in a good mood all day...and then after what had happened with Madison....

Ugh......did I do something? Oooh...is it about what happened last night??

"Y/n?"

I snap out of my trance and shake my head quickly. Muichiro frowns, "I cant...?"

Immediately I knew I messed up, "No! That's not what I meant. Im sorry...I meant yes. I'd like to talk..."

Oh my gosh Y/n....you are the most foolish person EVER.

He nods, "Ok...well follow me..."

As he walks, he never let go of my wrist. That feeling of butterflies appeared in my stomach again. Finally, we reached the roof of the school. This was the most peaceful place at school. Just...away from everything. Quiet...and beautiful.

I sit on the very edge of the roof and hang my feet over it. "I can see everything! Its so...pretty..."

Muichiro's POV

As Y/n sits on the edge of the roof I join her...of course not without looking how far the drop is. I mean...its high enough to kill quickly.

I look at Y/n as she compliments the view. "Yeah...very...pretty." She looks at me and smiles brightly.

I felt my heart skip a beat...if the view didn't kill me, the smile would. Its weird...how can one feel so cold for their whole life...until one person shows up and makes them melt? Its not logic...its not science...its not even fucking rocket science! Ha! Id understand that more than this...
