"..."
"...Re..."
"...Reku...!"
"...Reku!"
"Reku!"
He was quickly knocked out of his trance as he turns around looking at the person who called his name. It was Kai'sa.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm absolutely fine. It's just remembering what I needed to get and I got lost in thought."
Kai'sa knew he was lying. He was bad at lying. She decided not to press. "Good luck with her that." She then walked off to go pay.
Reku was shocked by his recovery of the memory of his birth. He shopped for a bit more, before deciding to pay for his things and went back home. Something however, told him to go outside. Maybe Cogitare was doing that. As he walked out, there was a guy there. On his shoulder was a white and gold pauldron. "Hm. I see thy haft chosen that blasted Cogitare over the Light of God. Thy shall pay for thy sins. Being tempted by the devil rather than taking the lords hand? He shall never forgive thee." They disappeared and into the man right behind them.
"So... you some religious puppet? Bound to a deity that only wants you for their own personal gain?"
The man chuckled, holding a cross sword "No, I am no puppet. Though you... you remain with the metal, instead of being a man of faith, you choose to believe people are founders of their own destinies. You believe demons can change. Let me tell you. They cannot." He then charged with his sword as Reku blocks it, summoning his own. The strange man smiles and jumps down off the balcony, using his wings to slow his descent. Reku followed, using the stairs instead.
"Maybe I should start by introducing myself. I am Astrapi, the Right Wing of God." He then readied his weapon. It was a gold handle, wrapped in red cloth with a sapphire in the pommel. The blade was razor sharp, but meant to sever. It was a bright silver and blessed with holy light, good for killing demons, and werewolves.
(Something like this, but matching the description)
Reku then got his own weapon ready. It chose the form of a pure blue blade with a gold handle, with a hand guard.
Astrapi charged and went for an attack, Reku blocked the attack to which Astrapi quickly kicked Reku's legs, and then kicked him away.
"Hm. Is that all you can do? Is this what I'm supposed to be afraid of, my Lord?" He went in for another charged, Reku parried this attack, but then was hit in the face by his fist. "The fuck you playing me for?!" Astrapi was pissed. It's like he wasn't even trying. "This?! This is the Blademaster?! The Godslayer?! The World Ender?! This frail weakling is the man who makes major gods shake in fear?!"
Reku could barely hear anything. He could hear the Blademaster whispering. "Cmon, it's a fair outlet for that inner rage. He wants to kill you. What's the harm in killing him instead?" Reku could feel himself on a field of grass. In front of him... was himself, wielding the sword he held, golden and black blood on the blade, and all over himself, those piercing royal blue eyes... his regular green ones had returned to himself.
Reku had no choice "Fine. For this guy only you hear me?" He held out his hand
The Blademaster chuckled "Sure pal. I'll be sure to make this guy cry for daddy to come save him."
"...shake in fear?!" This guy never shuts up, does he? Reku, or now, the BladeMaster, quickly got up, grabbing Astrapi's leg and picked him up, swinging him, hitting his face against a pole before throwing him to the ground.
Astrapi groaned in pain "Now that... THATS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR!" Astrapi was laughing, his head was bleeding orangish blood as a sign of his control with a major god. "This! This is the Blademaster!"
Astrapi laughed some more as he charged again. The Blademaster stepped on the end of his blade, sending Astrapi forward to the ground as the Blademaster kicked his teeth in. Him suddenly getting back sent his blade up, sending the Blademaster off balance, which he counted by cartwheeling to the side "So this is the power of an angel. You guys have gotten stronger. Good. I've been wanting a good fight." Astrapi went for another strike, only for an echo of the Blademaster to parry his attack and go for a counter attack but Astrapi went backwards.
"Alright. Seems I've got to take this more seriously that I thought." His wings then extend fully as he slightly ascends as pillars of pure light come down from the sky. One of them hits the arm, and Cogitare internally screams 'FUCK FUCK FUCK, I DON'T REMEMBER ANGELIC WEAPONS HURTING THIS BAD! IM NOT EVEN DEMONIC!'
'BRO, SHUT UP, I'M KINDA IN THE MIDDLE OF SOMETHING HERE!'
'DOING WHAT?! GETTING HIT BY ANGELIC PILLARS?!'
The spell was soon off and before Astrapi could even reorient, The Blademaster was sliding at him before he sliced off his sword hand. Astrapi was pissed "You cut off my hand... hm..." he then picked up his weapon from the ground with his other hand. "Good thing I'm ambidextrous."
This time however, thunder rolled. It was a storm. It started raining, and more thunder could be heard. Astrapi charged before spinning upwards with his blade, the Blademaster simply parried this attack as well. 'I got this one!' The arm then pointed at Astrapi as a point on a rope shot out, digging into its skin. He then pulled it down to his level, before punching it in the stomach hard as it landed. Astrapi this time seemed to be coughing blood.
Astrapi was having a hard time seeing, was... that it? No. It wasn't. He still had one trick. His be all, end all. No one could react to this, he was sure of it. He dodged back. He then summoned a lightning bolt from the sky. He launched it at Reku. Or... Rather the Blademaster. As it fell, the Blademaster jumped up, catching the lightning with his blade, ready to return it.
While Astrapi wasn't expecting this move, he smirks, moving upwards, out of the reach. As the Blademaster neared the ground, he threw his sword at Astrapi, which pierced his shoulder that connected to his hand holding the sword. It was then... that the Blademaster was tired.
"That was it... huh. All that power, yet so little time. Say goodbye little man. I had a great fight. Truly." He pulled the sword out of his shoulder and went to finish off Reku. That was right before...
A pink lasher pierced his heart. Astrapi couldn't believe he let his guard down. As he looks up, he saw a familiar face. He then growled "EveLYNN!" He then backs up, as he bursts into feathers. He turned around. He saw the Evelynn he saw before. Except... her lashers were now silver. Not pink. Was Evelynn hiding something?
"Before you say it, you're welcome, by the way, I only saved you because I hate their asses just as much as you probably do. Damn angels always thinking they are so much better than everyone else." Evelynn sighs softly "Here, Kai wanted me to hand you this, it turns out you forgot it." She handed him his wallet. Or at least it looked like it. He felt his back pocket. No wallet, he knew he had in it there.
"Now wait a min-" but Evelynn was gone. He checked inside the wallet, and there was a ticket. On it reading K/DA VIP Pass. "K/DA huh? Weirdest invite I've ever seen"
