Going to Inwood Orphanage

The police arrived, Ember explained what happened and what she thought happened. The police underwent a search around the car. They found what Ember saw. A knife and a 3D printed key that was colored red. "You guys have to go to an orphanage and might have to wait for someone to adopt you or otherwise a relative can take care." Ember forgot that all her relatives moved to a different state due to the temperature and pricing. "Um, we don't have anyone." The police told Ember and her two brothers that they had to go to an orphanage called "Inwood Orphanage" Ember was 16, Evan was 8, and Michael was 12. "2 more years until I can take care of you guys." As they all went in the police car, they saw Inwood Orphanage. It was a very poor and dirty orphanage on the outside. "Hey Ember.." Ember turned to Evan. "What?" "How did you know that there was a 3D printed key?" Ember explained that she is an expert in engineering and in computer science, therefore, she could recognize what a 3D printed key looks like. Evan was surprised. As they got out, a huge wave of wind came and sent shivers down their spine. As they walked to the door, they were introduced by an old lady. They all walked upstairs and saw their dorm with two beds, a wide desk, and a couple of outlets. It was dirty, the scent smelling like cigarettes. Ember covered her mouth with her shirt trying to prevent herself from smelling the horrible odor. Evan also came in and got disgusted by the change of smell. Michael was still shocked after what happened. "How will we survive?" Michael asked himself. Ember was trying very hard to stay strong and make sure they are okay. "Ember, how will we share 2 beds if there are three of us?" Ember explained to Evan that Evan and Michael will sleep in the same bed and Ember will sleep in the other. Evan went and tried the mattress, it was stiff as a rock and very springy. Even a single muscle moves and the bed makes a noise. Evan didn't care, since it was such a long day, he grabbed the blanket and slept comfortably. A few hours later, Ember had a dream, a dream about who the killer was. (will make memory chapters) As Ember got up, she went out in the hallway and walked downstairs, where the public kitchen was, and poured herself a glass of water, as she gulped down the water hesitantly because she was worried something would happen. As she turned around to go upstairs and go back to sleep, she saw a man in a hood carrying a kitchen knife. She dropped her glass and couldn't react.  The man stabbed her in the stomach and she felt a burning, stabbing sensation. She couldn't believe what was happening. Blood poured from her mouth . The man took out the knife and it hurt like hell. The man stabbed her multiple times, each stab felt like a gunshot but a hundred times worse. She fell to the ground, bleeding and dying. Ember tried to apply pressure, but the man got on top of her and stabbed her in the chest. She couldn't breathe. The man then took out the knife then proceeded to stab her multiple times until she died. The last thought before her death was "The killer is ***** ****. (cannot say haha)" Michael came down to see what the glass breaking was, but he was shocked to see Ember dead. Michael just wanted everything to end.
