Uzi was in the nurse's office with a bandage over her eye-screen with Carolynn sitting next to her.
"Ughhh, I totally blew it!" Uzi grumbled.
"Hey, we all make slip ups in life, one time I accidentally drank gasoline instead of oil and was sick for 3 days." Carolynn replied. "Anyways, it's okay to- OH MY ROBOGOD, UZI, LOOK!!"
"Huh?"
The violet-haired worker drone turned her head to the door. Lizzy and Doll, two of the most popular girls in the school, were standing there chuckling a bit.
"This could be my chance, 'Zi! I could finally fess up to Doll and tell her I love her!" Carolynn said excitedly.
"I don't know, Caro. I doubt she would be in love with the autistic artsy kid." Uzi replied.
"But y'know what they say, opposites attract." Carolynn responded.
Lizzy and Doll walked a bit closer to the door, still giggling.
"Ew, it didn't kill her." Lizzy said jokingly while pointing at Uzi.
The pair of popular drones ran off, still laughing.
"Damn it! There goes my chance." Carolynn said.
Then, Thad walked in, just coming off of a previous conversation.
"Hehe, classic toxic masculinty, Chad! That's never gonna end up problematic..."
"Oh, hey Thad!" Carolynn said.
"Hey, Caro. Oh wow, Uzi?! I heard you, uhm-"
"I'm an angsty teen, Thad, bite me. Also, how do you know my name? Popular drones willingly talk to you." Uzi interuptted.
"Well, I'd say everyone knows Khan's daughter, but, uhm- Then you'd might blow the other half of your face off..." He replied.
"Crippling daddy issues. Very funny." Uzi said sarcatically.
"Anyways, why are you here? You testosterone'd too hard?" Carolynn asked.
"THAT CAN HAPPEN?!? Awesome. By the way, those bandages look pretty badass!" Thad happily responded.
"Oh... Uh... Ew, gross, I hate that you just said that..." Uzi replied, a bit flustered.
"Okay then... What are the-"
"Sick As Hell Railgun and Badass Photon Pistol?!? Just some sci-fi nonsense Carolynn and I made, that SUPER works!" Uzi replied.
"We're gonna sneak to the murder drone lair tonight to get the last needed parts for them, so we can save the world and let Uzi get some actual respect from her dad. But mainly the "world saving"." Carolynn added.
"But dosen't Uzi's dad make those doors so you guys don't have to do that scary sounding, emotionally repressed stuff..?" Thad asked.
"NO MORE FEEDBACK ON MY REPRESSION TODAY!" Uzi said angrily, pointing her railgun into Thad's cheek.
"Oh, sorry! I didn't thi-"
"BITE ME!" Uzi replied, as she stormed out of the sick bay.
"She isn't mad at you, by the way. She's just generally hormonal." Carolynn said.
"I can see that..." Thad replied.
