Chapter Four

Location: Classroom 2-A, Kuoh Academy.
Pov: Third Person.

Issei sat at his desk with a sour look on his face, as he glared at the empty seat next to him.

"That bastard."

Issei mumbled to himself, as he let a sigh escape his lips.

How could Shuzaki do this to him? Why would he do this to him?

In the years that Issei has known Shuzaki, he's always been like a brother to him, but now after what Yuuma told him.

He didn't know.

Was Shuzaki always like this, and he just didn't notice?

Issei's shoulders slumped, as his facial features softened while starting at Shuzaki's desk.

"Why...why couldn't you just be happy for me."

Bzzt

Issei felt his pocket vibrate, and he looked around the classroom to see if anyone was watching him.

He slid his hand into his pocket and pulled out his phone. A small smile was now on his face, as Issei saw a message from Yuuma.

Hey, Issei. I was thinking about you this morning and I can't wait until our date to see you. Would you mind meeting me at Kuoh Central Park, at 11 pm? Love Yuuma❤️

His eyes widened with a large smile on his face, as he quickly replied to Yuuma.

Issei's palms got a bit sweaty, as his heart started to beat faster.

He was love-struck.

Of course! I can't wait to see you😘

Scene Change:

Rias Gremory sat in her club room looking through a stack of papers with her fingers rubbing her temples.

She had a headache.

The cause of her headache though, was the large amount of stray devils turning up dead in the shared territory. But there were no clues as to why.

Was there another peerage working in Kuoh with her or Sona's permission? Unlikely.

Maybe there is an exorcist working the streets at night? This was probably the case, but if it's the cause then that opens up a bigger problem.

It could be a matter of time before she or Sona's peers are the victims of this unnamed attacker.

Rias narrowed her eyes at the thought.

She needed to handle this as soon as possible.

A soft knock on her door broke her concentration.

"Come in."

The door to her office opened as a young woman no taller than 5'3 with snow-white hair walked in. She wore the same school uniform Rias, was wearing the only difference was a small hair clip in the shape of a kitty that held her hair out of her face.

"Koneko? Is everything alright?"

Rias said slightly worried as Koneko nodded her head softly.

"I came to tell you about that boy you sent me to watch."

Koneko said with a monotone voice, as Rias' eyes lit up slightly. She could try to hide it but her excitement was very evident on her face.

"Tell me! Does he have a Sacred Gear? Is he a super powerful magician?!"
