The One That Almost Got Away (EJ x Reader fan fiction)

Rules are meant to be broken

     You get up quietly in the morning because he doesn't like to wake up early, slowly getting out of bed and walking quickly but quietly around it you see the mini fridge out of the corner of your eye. You read the sign on it. 'I wonder what he put inside it? But what if he catches me?' But without a second thought your impulsive thought moves you to the side of the bed he's laying on. You get down on the fridges level quietly, luckily jacks facing the other direction... you quietly pull the door open and without any control over your body you scream seeing the remains of other people in your husbands fridge. 

     Ej slowly turns over still half asleep trying to fully pull himself into the real world... then he sees you slam the fridge door instantly waking him up. You see him shoot up angrily and you make a run for it, he soon chases after you. Sense he's double your size you obviously lose, he grabs you buy the arm aggressively and pins you against the wall with your arm above your head. All Ej can do at this moment was growl sense he was still waking up.
     "I'm sorry!.." you blurt out. He was baring his teeth angrily growling at you getting closer to you to keep you trapped.

     You blush against your will from being pinned to the wall by your arm by someone other then Joseph, you have pretty much forgotten about Joseph at this point. This was your life and somehow it was better. You are somehow happier... and it's been better sense he's gotten here, he respects you, he doesn't hit you, he spared you for not fighting back. He tucked you into bed in a bed you haven't felt invited to for years...
     All these weird thoughts flooded your mind, what was he thinking? How does he feel? Who is he? You were so out of your mind it was truly as if your body wasn't yours, you kissed him, a serial killer. But you felt so alive, you feel so much more happy.

     'What is she doing??' I thought, why is she kissing me?? I'm holding her hostage I was just threateningly chasing her! I've yelled at her! Refused all sources of food she's given me! She should hate me. But at the same time I feel human again... a mix of emotions that have taken a vacation from my heart. It feels like she just magically fixed a broken bone... 'what do I do? How and what do I feel? How is she feeling? What is she thinking?...

     The kiss was now mutually shared between the two, jack loosens his grip and pulled his and your arms down, as the kiss is deepened you two embraced each other softly as if neither of you have felt the touch of a warm embrace before...

     It's a small moment, but it felt like a new big bang in your universe has collided. You two stare warmly at each other quietly for a moment both replaying that perfect moment in your mind like a movie stuck on repeat...
     Maybe this was fate, or a lucky chance... either way you two are here now... time to choose what happens in this story book...
