The One That Almost Got Away (EJ x Reader fan fiction)

The light has died

     Your husband lets you know he's on his drive back home and should be home in a few hours. Ej watched you and Joesph on the phone talking you couldn't break eye contact with him so you found a reason you end the call.
     "I have to go turn off the oven Joe, but I can't wait till you get home" you said super faked, now after all of this you can't help but feel disgusted by this gross man.
     "Make sure you leave a beer out for me. Make sure it's not too cold, or too room temperature." He hung up, is that all he has to say to you?! He's-!

     "Y/N..." Ej spoke soft but stern. You looked directly at him and all thoughts went silent in your mind.... "This will be the last time I will ask you... are you coming?" You knew this would come up again. But what would you say, what would you do?
     "I-I don't know I'm sorry Jack..." he nodded obviously disappointed. But something changed in that moment in his mannerisms.
     "What if I could change your mind?~" what? You thought, is he crazy?... could he? He started to purr, there was tension in the air....
You were standing next to your home phone still on one side of the couch he was on the other, he took a few steps forward. And as if he could control your body you did the same....

     He just smiles at you for a second, then he gently moves his hands to your body and gently pulled you closer bending over to reach your ear just to whisper...
     "There, Now I can see you~" your heart fluttered as you bite your tongue. Your husband hasn't turned you on in 9 years, but somehow this man can with one sentence? He nudged your hair out of the way then he gently kissed the base of your neck. You rested your hands on his. He nudged the couch with his leg so he could push you down onto it. You landed gently on the soft cushions. Ej moved the coffee table so he could get down onto his knees, he slid his hands up your leg lifting it with ease to kiss it with his soft lips. He had eaten just a few minutes before so a soft bloody lip stained on your leg. Then he paused.
     "I love you Y/N." He then moved some hair behind his ears, this was the first time you saw them, they were long and pointed. Thank god you weren't wearing nice underwear under your nightgown, because the next thing you knew was he cut it open with his claw like it was a knife. He pulled your hips close to him. Your body melts as you feel his rough warm tongue slide against your lips. A small moan quivered out of your mouth.
     "Just relax~" you felt his breath against your inner thigh before he kissed it, which turned into a soft nibble. Slowly as you sink comfortably into the couch, he slips his long tongues comfortably into you. You've never felt pleasure like this before, and the attention all on you felt amazing. Your pleasure is easily heard by Jack, as he enjoyed your song of pleasure he grew more aggressive. As he found your G spot your body jerked. You smiled you felt special for once a man's never made you feel special before, but your smile soon faded...
     "So you're coming with me now right?" Ej asked, I know I wanted to but the fact that was just so he could win made you angry!
     "That's all that was for?! Really?!" You stood up from the energy this new anger gave you. This hurt you deeply. How could he just do that?
     "I just want you to be safe from him! I want you to be with me! I love you, Y/N'" he grew stern and angry too.
     "Well it doesn't feel like it! Get out!" I screamed you didn't mean it but you couldn't stop yourself... Ej just stopped and looked at you defeated.
     "Y/N. I'm sorry..." he said begging for you to come with him. You didn't budge so he stood up grabbed his few things and left.

     You fell to your knees and cried you knew you made a mistake but it was over now, it's time to spend the rest of your life in a loveless marriage full of abuse. Ej ran into the woods and Jeff found him sadly mumbling to himself. Jeff asked him about it and Ej told him what he did and show selfish he felt. Jeff and Ej talked about it for a long time, Jeff tells him it's not to late and he needed to apologize to make things right. Ej remembers something he hid away. He went to a abandoned shed he uses. He dug up the corner where he had stored a bag of random nicknacks, he sifted through the small dirty bag and pulled out a small ring. The ring was silver with a small oplite gem on it with pretty floral detailing.

     Your husband was going to be home any minute now, you got yourself dressed. You walked your way to the back porch and looked out to the forest saying goodbye to Ej and your freedom. Waiting to hear your husbands voice at any moment.

I ran down the edge of the woods towards Y/N's house, it was pure daylight but I didn't care what would happen I will see here if it's the last thing I'll ever do! I heard the sirens of a cop car but I didn't stop I saw her house, and she was right there!
     "Y/N-!" I shouted to her clutching the ring in my hand.

     "Y/N-!" A loud voice shook me from my trance, it was Ej! He was out of breath at the end of yard "Y/N, I'm so sorry, what I did wasn't right! But I love you! I need you in my life! I'll do anything you need if you come with me!" My heart went a million miles per hour, it was so sudden but I was ready to leave with nothing. I was ready to disappear and be a ghost in the woods with the man I loved! I got my wish, my dreams came true! I took a few quick steps towards him, he took a small step forward.

     "Yes! Ej I'll come with you! I've made up my mi-!..."
     Bang! Bang! Bang!
     Ej fell to the floor, you didn't move you didn't even process it until his blood started to spill dying the grass a dark black...
     "Ej... EJ-!..." you ran to him, you cried out begging him to stay and to not leave you alone with Joesph, you begged and pleaded for him to take you away... but he was gone, just like that, gone forever... in a moment your dream had been taken for you ripped apart and stomped on.. you saw the ring fall from his hand, you grabbed it and held it close as you cried. With all this you never heard your husband's announcement of his arrival home. He now stomped into the back yard grabbed you and dragged you back into your prison, your light in the darkness had flickered away. The evil man who shot Jack picked him up and dragged him away...

     This is how the story ends, you're stuck with the same man you were stuck with in the beginning, the hero had died, and the damsel is still stuck in the tower. With no more hope of being freed. The villain is happy. The fighting has continued, your old routine that now feels so much more lonely, has become your normal again, and now it really does look like this is how you'll die. You're stuck with the mistake you made in high school... right?...
