Sean ran his fingers up through Dark's hair, keeping his face to his. Feeling his warm skin and inhaling his musky scent relaxed him to the very core of his being. A small gasp left him when one of Dark's hands moved up his spine. The gesture eased Sean upright and Sean easily adjusted to wrap his legs around Dark's hips. Dark merely adjusted his hands to keep him from falling, allowing Sean to tilt his head back as Sean pressed his lips to his in a hungry kiss. Swept away by his passion, Sean's hand drifted down to Dark's shirt and began unbuttoning it slowly. Dark grinned into the kiss, until Thanatos cleared his throat. Breaking the kiss, Dark shot Thanatos a light glare, but Thanatos simply asked aloud. "Should I come back later?" Wiggling out of Dark's arms, Sean quickly told him. "No. Let's get this off me now. Please?" Thanatos gestured Sean to the chair and without hesitating he obeyed with an eagerness in his steps. Dark lingered by the wall, avoiding Thanatos' eyes now when he walked past him. Thanatos moved to his worktable, while telling Dark neutrally. "Roll your sleeve up. I need your blood." Dark carefully stripped his jacket off and rolled one of his white sleeves up past his elbow. Thanatos glanced between them before saying with amusement. "So, he already told you? Perfect. Saves me a long winded explanation."

Sean chuckled, watching Dark smirk only for him. Sean's smile faded when he saw the large needle that Thanatos removed from a black bag. Dark held out his arm fearlessly, telling Sean coolly. "You don't have to look." Swallowing. Sean asked Thanatos shakily. "You said you just needed a drop. That... that is a thick fucking needle." Thanatos rubbed something on Dark's skin, while telling Sean bluntly. "For your ring it will take a drop. The master will need a bit more. Plus, I always like having extra. Just in case the first attempt fails. He'll be fine." Sean winced and looked away shamefully when Thanatos jammed the needle into Dark's skin. Sean's cheeks burned, listening to Thanatos tell Dark casually. "Clench your fist for me. Relax them, count to three and clench again." After a few seconds, Thanatos removed the needle and told them coolly. "Perfect. You can sit down now." Dark pulled a stool over to sit by the chair and Sean mumbled out. "Sorry." Raising an eyebrow, Dark asked him curiously. "Sorry about what?" Sean cautiously reached out to take Dark's arm. Thumbing the skin around Dark's wound, he reluctantly told him. "I shouldn't look away... but..." Dark lightly cut him off to tease back. "I don't need you to look. I barely felt it."

Rolling his eyes, Sean shook his head and told him bluntly. "No. Dark, it is more than that. I shouldn't... I should... I don't want you to think that you have to change for me." Dark's expression became confused. Forcing Sean to add gently. "I mean that... I understand you're a demon. That you do things and hurt people. And I don't want you to think that I'm... scared of that. Of you. I want to... be someone you can talk to about it. I just don't want to turn you into something you are not because... you feel that you are protecting me. Or that you think being you isn't who I want you to be." Dark's hand rose to touch Sean's cheek, before asking sweetly. "Why are you telling me this?" Swallowing, Sean nervously glanced at Thanatos' back before telling Dark honestly. "I saw how Verine is around his humans. They accept everything he is. They know what he does... I'm engaged to you, and I still don't know what you do. You know everything about me... but I feel like... you're still hiding things from me." Dark's thumb brushed over Sean's cheekbone gently, before whispering to him. "I guess you're right. But this sword has two edges, Sean. I don't want you to change because of what I am. It's easy for me to change, but if you were to darken because of me and what I do... I don't think I could bare it."

Chuckling, Sean rolled his eyes and told him coolly. "I understand... but if Anti is who I was... I think I can handle it. Just break it to me slowly." Leaning in, Dark whispered over his lips. "As you wish." Dark's kiss was light over his lips, teasing him with a gentleness that made Sean's heart skip. When Dark eased back, Sean started to follow, until Thanatos told them without making eye contact with them. "Alright. Want to give this a try?" Sean gripped Dark's arm and Dark carefully clasped his hands over his arms to hold it steady. Thanatos leaned in with his tools, starting to work on the ring while telling Dark openly. "What is your plan to deal with Khaos?" Dark looked away from both of them, stating flatly. "I'm... still thinking." Thanatos huffed to himself, retorting bluntly. "You can't think with him so close, can you?" Dark let out a growl, while Sean blushed a deep shade of red. Coming to Dark's defense though, Sean told Thanatos lightly. "He was worried about me. Give him time. He'll come up with something. He always does." Thanatos smirked to himself. Dark met Sean's eyes and Sean winked at him. After a minute, Thanatos picked up a little dropper with Dark's blood and eased it into the ring to put the drop in a little vessel within it.
