The students cheered as the music began to play.
"You wanna take, take, take. You wanna break, break, break my heart. And now I know my place .I know just what you are, hmm." Tobias began singing into the mic in an angelic but rough voice.
The students watched him in awe.
"Like a villain, I couldn't be. I didn't need it, it needed me. Like a villain, I couldn't be. I didn't need it, it needed me. (Like a villain)" Tobias sang before the beat dropped as the band head banged.
The students also head banged.
Even Wednesday, who was in the back, slightly head banged.
"You couldn't wait, wait, wait. For the day, day, day I lost. It's such a shame, shame, shame. You couldn't change, look what it cost. Like a villain, I couldn't be. I didn't need it, it needed me." Tobias sang as the the next song, which follows on from the previous song, begins.
"Look into my face, then look again. We are not the same, we're different. To tell your tales and fables, you couldn't wait. You need a new clean slate without the dents. A place to put your pain, your consequence. When you look into the mirror, are you even there?" Tobias sang in a even more angelic voice, making some students cheer.
"I don't wanna know all your secrets 'cause I'll tell. It's hard enough being alone with myself. I don't know how long I'll be holding on. I know you tried your hardest, I know that you meant well. But you pushed me to the edge and I slipped, and then I fell. I don't know how long I'll be holding on." Tobias sang in a new rough voice, which made Wednesday, even though she did not want to, blush.
Sasha continued to play the hell out of the drums.
"So write a brand-new page, then write again. I know your act is staged yet you pretend. All while you're turning tables with missing legs. I think you've overstayed your welcome in. So go the fuck away, don't come again. I'll see your face in the fire and burn it out." Tobias sang as the guitar, bass and drums played, making people dance.
"I don't wanna know all your secrets 'cause I'll tell. It's hard enough being alone with myself. I don't know how long I'll be holding on. I know you tried your hardest, I know that you meant well. But you pushed me to the edge and I slipped, and then I fell. I don't know how long I'll be holding on." Tobias sang, back in that rough tone.
"Like a villain, I couldn't be. I didn't need it, it needed me. Like a villain, I couldn't be. I didn't need it, it needed me." Tobias sang in his angelic voice before the beat dropped, drums blasting.
"I didn't need it, it needed me!" Tobias screamed into the mic before the music paused.
"I don't wanna know all your secrets 'cause I'll tell. It's hard enough being alone with myself. I don't know how long I'll be holding on. I know you tried your hardest, I know that you meant well. But you pushed me to the edge and I slipped, and then I fell. I don't know how long I'll be holding on." Tobias sang as the crowd began to sing back.
Even Wednesday sang back, but under her breath.
The guitar, bass and drums continued as Tobias then sang "I didn't need it, it needed me."
The music stopped and the students cheered.
