Mi deh pon mi way home (kingston) from a meeting inna mobay. Did haffi go sort out some things since mi fada couldn't deh deh. Ih man have mi a do more work, feel like him go ask mi fi tek over ya now. Long time mi waa him ask but mi just clutch n nuh seh nth.

I'm Jamiy (Jay-mi) Maddox, the 21 year old heir to the Dox Gang (DG). My dad started the gang when he was 15 years old living in Salt Spring, St.James struggling with his mom trying to make ends meet without his dad. When the gang started to become more popular and his list of enemies kept growing he picked up all his family, except my grandma, and moved to Kingston. Yk old stubborn people who refuse to be "forced" out of their homes because that's where they grew up and created a life? Yea that's my grandmother, Lizbeth James. Anyways, about 3 months after my dad moved to kingston he met my mom at his right hand man's (duppy) brunch party, she is his ex girlfriend's bestfriend. They hit it off and my dad waited until they were in love before he told her what he really does for a living. My mom ghosted him for a year when she found out. She says it's because he made her find out the hard way (they kidnapped my mom to get to my dad). They saw each other again and she decided to work with it and see where it would go.

Fast forward 2 years later, I was born on December 7th. I grew up with loving parents until my mom died 1 1/2 years ago. Ever since then my dad has gotten more cruel and closed off than he's ever been, killing my mom's killer didn't really help. And for me, I completely changed too. I see the world for what it is and I will NEVER fall in love no matter how bad my mom wanted me to, it creates a weak point that will break you like it did my dad.

I have my own little circle outside of DG. Matthew my bestfriend / right hand man, Jargo the best shooter I know and Abbigail, yes a girl, the bad ass tomboy girl that you find in a group of males sometimes lol. The four of us are coming from highschool (except me and matty, we a nappie days and same fi abbi and jargo). We've proven our loyalty to each other numerous times. I'm good with them, my dad (sometimes), my grandmother and the business. That's alot already so why add more?
