Opening my eyes I'm greeted with dimmed lights and snores.
I look around the room and I see Jamiy's head on the side of my bed, Jada and Dessie curled up in a chair tg, a brown guy in the other chair and a dreadhead on the floor
My eyes shoot to the door as I hear it open
Wa dis again
Tapping Jamiy I try to move but there's the pain in my side that halts my movements
"Ouch!"
"Chalynn?" Jamiy says in his sleepy voice
My eyes glued to the door, heart's racing and my forehead is drenched with sweat

Following her eyes I look at the open door.

Before I can get up Abbi walks through the door with snacks in her hands

"Watch ya. She wake" was the first thing she said
Turning to Chalynn I can see that she's breathing heavily, sweating and shaking. She's yet to take her eyes from the door but she isn't look at Abbi

I climb on the bed and pull her head to my chest in hopes that she'll calm down
"It's just Abbi. Mi fren, remember mi always deh on the phone a talk to Abbi, Matty and Jargo? A dem a the unfamiliar faces" I tell her
Finally feeling her relax I lay down on the bed with her still on me.
