Alyiah, having woken up early, decided to take a step toward building bridges within their new family. She put on an apron and went into the suite's small kitchenette. She was determined to cook breakfast for their family members-the grandfather, father-in-law, and brother-in-law.

In the kitchen, the aroma of sizzling bacon and fresh coffee began to fill the air. Alyiah was busy at work, flipping pancakes on the griddle and setting a colorful array of fresh fruits on a platter. Alyiah discreetly watched as the maid placed the plate before Ezran, her movements unsteady. It was then that Alyiah noticed a small vial tucked in the maid's apron pocket. Her heart raced as she began to piece together the puzzle. It seemed that the maid was attempting to serve poisoned food to Ezran.

In that tense moment, Alyiah knew she had to act carefully to protect her husband without causing a scene. She pretended to be careless and inadvertently knocked her own glass of water, spilling it across the table. The sudden distraction drew everyone's attention to the spill, and in the chaos that ensued, Alyiah managed to discreetly push Ezran's plate aside.

Ezran, unaware of the danger that had just been averted, turned to Alyiah with concern. "Are you all right?"

Alyiah nodded, her heart still pounding. "Just a clumsy moment, don't worry."
