" Chanyeol! " Kyungsoo rushed towards the couple that were standing like statues in the middle of the indoor garden, Jongin, Dara and Kris were towing behind. " What happened? " Kyungsoo asked Yeri since Chanyeol was zoning out.

" He.. I mean, we tried to talk to Baekhyun. " Yeri said in a sad voice , eyes were at  Chanyeol who remains quiet. " Baekhyun told us to not bother him if it's not about the project. "

" Bro.." Kris tapped Chanyeol's shoulder, Chanyeol snapped back and look at him with dull eyes. " If this is going to be too much then maybe.."

" No. It's okay. Let's proceed as planned. " Chanyeol looks around his friends and after locking eyes with Yeri , " I will go back to the office to get some works done. " He then left without another word, leaving Yeri and his friends worried.

" This is not good. " Jongin stated after a few moments of silence, his eyes filled with worries. " Let's do something about this. "

" It's not that easy. I don't think Yixing will understand. He seems to really like Baekhyun's designs. " Kyungsoo said to his husband.

" You okay, Yeri? " Kris asked when he saw Yeri starting to tremble, eyes are glossy. He takes her side and guides her to the bench where Baekhyun sat earlier.

" Chanyeol.. He.. - " And before another word came out of her, Yeri broke down in tears. Kyungsoo hugged and tried to comfort the pregnant woman. " Everything will be alright, Yeri. Everything will be alright. " Kyungsoo whispers trying to sound comforting but his voice sounded more like his convincing his self and the people around him that things will get better. Those worried eyes didn't escaped Dara whose eyes are full of questions and confusion.

" How are you feeling, Baek? " Minseok asked his friend who's sitting besides him in the car with eyes closed, head leaning to the window of the car. Baekhyun have been silent since he gets in.

" I don't know. " Baekhyun said truthfully without opening his eyes. It seems every part of him hurts since he locked eyes with Chanyeol earlier.

" Do you want- " Minseok's words were cut by Jongdae opening the car door and settling himself at the back seat. Jongdae have a thoughtful look in his eyes.

" Nice car. " Jongdae complimented to break the awkward silence, he leans forward and check Baekhyun out before turning his questioning gazed to Minseok who just shook his head in silence. Jongdae sighed.

" Uncle sent this car for us to use while were here. " Minseok is referring to his father's brother who still lives in Seoul. " He invited us for lunch or dinner before we head back to Beijing. "

" Of course! I will put that in our schedules." Jongdae glanced again at Baekhyun who seems to be sleeping. " Let's go to the hospital now. We still have things to review for the next bidding. " Minseok nodded and started the car.

" Luhan is coming. " Baekhyun announced in the middle of their trip to the hospital, startling the engaged couple. " I asked him to come. He will be here tomorrow. " Baekhyun still didn't open his eyes and remained leaning on the window. He doesn't want to see the worried looks in their eyes. Baekhyun is tired of it. Tired of him making his friends worry about him all the time. And him asking Luhan to come only means one thing and his friends knows the seriousness of the situation.

" Baek, if doing this project will just mess you up, let's just withdraw. " Jongdae said in a careful voice. " It's not worth it if - "
