I want someone who knows how broken I am.
Yet he doesn't ask if I need help.
Because he knows I just need someone to love me.
He doesn't turn away when he sees my scars,
He kisses them and says, "I'm here now."
When he sees my sleeping figure in the bloody bathroom,
He calls 911 and helps me through it.
He doesn't leave the side of my bed until I wake up.
Because he doesn't want to miss the opportunity of saying, "I love you."
I want someone like that.
Who doesn't think I'm crazy,
Who doesn't think I'm doing it for attention,
That I'm really, truly in need.
In need for someone to love me.
He knows I wear all black because I don't want to be noticed
by the people with black hearts.
The people who torment me day by day.
He knows I don't mean to be like this,
It just happens.
That's why I want someone who stops it
From happening.
I want someone with the power to mend my broken heart together,
But not because he wants me to change,
Because he doesn't want me to feel pain.
Every night he says, 'I love you."
And he means it.
