I haven't met you,
I don't know how you look,
I've never said, "Happy Father's Day."
Or, "I love you."
Yet I know your still alive,
At least you're alive in my heart.
My childhood wasn't normal,
Because if people asked me what my dad's name was,
I had to say, "I don't know."
They'd look at me weird
But all I could do was wish,
Wish you were here with me.
But you're not.
At least not now.
Hopefully I'll find you one day,
And you'll love me like you've been there all my life.
And I wasn't the reason why you left.
