chapter 10

Finn's pov

I never wanted to talk about this but now I've to tell these many people about it . Guess it's now or never .

Now , everyone inside dark orca was quiet . One could hear the rodents noises that were running like crazy .

( After a long breath Finn calmed down and started speaking . )

So , when I was little I really liked going on vacations . Dad used to be on the submarine while I and mom prepared the camp and other stuff . Everything was picture perfect . But sometimes I felt lonely cause I was just starting to get used to life on a submarine . And then I met Jess , we both were just starting our journey so, in a very small time we became friends . I was doing good and when Maddie , born it was incredible . Jess's and my family were best friends . But I made a mistake .
My mom was the only one who knew about the mermaids crown and she wanted to protect it at all costs . But I...... I told Jess about the crown . And after sometime we were on vacation again . It was just me and my mom . Dad took Maddie with her cause she loved dad and never wanted to be apart from him .

We were making sand castles , swimming and doing everything crazy . It was perfect but soon mom told me she was going somewhere and she'll come back in sometime . She gave me a box and told me to keep it safe and not open it .

I waited many hours but she didn't came back . After sometime I opened the box . And I saw a piece of paper in it . I was naive so , I took it and started waving it . But a gust of wind made the paper fall in the ocean and the paper sank . I didn't wanted to upset my mom so I put my family picture in the box and started waiting for her .

After sometime she came but many people were following her , she made me hide in a cave that was not far and told me to not come out . I was scared as well as confused .

I peeped out of the cave , it was dark outside . Then I started searching for mom . I called many times but no one answered . Then I saw a figure laying on the sand , I ran as fast as I could and then I shaked my mom's body that was laying still .

In the morning dad came , he didn't Asked me anything , he hugged me and he promised to never ask about this incident .

" Are you okay ?" Asked fontaine in a whisper .

" It hurts to think about it but also feels good to let it out " replied Finn .

( Then he went towards Madeline )

" I'm sorry mads , it's my fault but please ! Don't hate me " Finn asked with teary eyes .

" Go To Hell ! " Cried Madeline .

( Finn looked down ashamed but suddenly Madeline hugged him )

" How can you say it's your fault and live with that guilt and more than that how can you ever think that I will hate you " said Maddie still hugging Finn .

After dinner

Ant's pov

I still can't believe Jess could do something like this . But still I want to ask her , why ?

But first I owe someone an apology . So , Jeffery let's go .

Madeleine's pov

It's feels really good to be alone and watching the ocean .

( Then ant knocked her door )

" Can I come in ?" Asked Ant .

" What do you want ?" Asked Madeline annoyed .

" Does that mean I can come in ?" asked ant .

" Come in but hurry up and go " replied Madeline .

" What do you want ? " Asked Madeline again .

" Umm , t..th..thank you " said ant hurriedly .

" For what ? " Asked Madeline .

" For Jeffery and sorry as well I shouldn't have said that " said ant ( clearly feeling guilty ) .

" Ok ! Now you can go " said Madeline looking other way .

Ant remained where he was .

After sometime

" Are you gonna stay here all night " asked Madeline .

" Don't know , maybe yes maybe no " replied ant .

" Wanna go out for a swim ?" Asked Madeline ( still looking the other way ) .

" You and me ? It's already night " Asked Ant ( surprised ) .

" If you don't want to go just say it " said Madeline ( annoyed ) .

" Sure ! Let's go " said ant ( laughing and smiling ) .

While Maddie was getting up , something fell both Ant and Madeline tried to pick that up on the same time and their fingers touched each other's . Both looked into eachother's eyes for a whole minute .

( Then Maddie turned towards the gate )

" Umm , are we still going ?" Asked ant " .

" Let me get you a swim suit then we'll go " said Madeline . ( Standing beside the door )

After sometime Maddie came with the swimsuit and they both alongside Jeffery went to swim .
