we walked together, silently. i put my hands in my pockets, it was getting colder and of course my dumb ass left my jacket in my dorm. at least my majors lab was close to the dorm building. "so do you also live in the dorms?" i asked softly, wanting to end the silence.
i cursed at myself internally for how cold i sounded. "no i live in the apartments." he said in his soft voice. i looked at him shocked, "but that's across campus in the other direction!" he nodded as he took his backpack off and then his jacket.
EJ put his backpack on. "yeah but a girl shouldn't walk by themselves at night, ___" he put his jacket around my shoulders. "you didn't have to! aren't you cold?" he shook his head no. i looked away suddenly feeling hot. "you should put it on correctly, you'll get a cold" he said in such a quiet mumble i almost didn't hear him even in this suffocating silence.
i nodded and put my arms into the sleeves. we got to the dorms, in silence after that. i went to take the jacket off, but he stopped me. "keep it, i've got more jackets at home" he smiled. i shook my head, "you'll catch a cold!" before i could argue anymore he walked off. "get in safely!"
he said at the loudest volume ive heard him so far, and it wasn't even that loud. "thank you!" i shouted after him, and he turned and smiled, waving, before continuing until he was just a star in the night.
It pours endlessly
끝없이 쏟아져요The beautiful times we were together
함께했었던 아름다웠던Moments sparkle

나에게 들어와요It shines in my heart
맘속에서 빛나요the next day i walked with my roommate, and best friend, Yeji to the art major's building. it was next to my building, so that made things easier. i carried EJ's jacket with me in hopes that i would see him again.
we walked in together, me following her. "what was it you wanted to show me again?" i asked as we walked down the hall. she smiled her mischievous smile, "i got an architecture major to learn a dance, and i wanted you too see, so i can convince you too let me teach you!"
i rolled my eyes, and we walked into a dance practice room. to my surprise it was him, he was in a short sleeve shirt and a pair of black sweats. he looked good. Yeji pointed to a corner, where another boy sat on a couch.
i walked over to the couch and sat on the opposite side of the boy. he looked mean, like he belonged in a frat almost. "i'm Nicholas, what's your name?" the guy spared a glance. "i'm ___" i said in a small almost intimidated voice. i cursed myself for letting myself seem that way.
"i'm his friend, his names Euijoo. i'm just here to watch him fail." he snickered, and i let a small smile out. i felt a state on me, and when i looked up he was staring at me. i felt intimidated, which was scary since i always felt so safe around him. well i had just met him.
"cut the chit-chat with my friend Nicholas" Yeji rolled her eyes, "she's off the market." my eyes widened at her, and gave her a glare. i looked at EJ, who seemed a little shocked.
we just met and she's already ruining a future chance. "don't worry, i assumed someone as pretty as her, would be off the market." Nicholas joked. making things not any better.
"how about you just watch me prove you wrong" EJ finally spoke up as he looked at Nicholas, a small teasing smirk playing on his lips. he seemed so different, more confident and louder. i guess this was Euijoo, the one i didn't know.
Yeji agreed, and started the music, and soon they were dancing. he had a serious, concentrated look on his face. his moves reminding me of waves smoothly rolling over the ocean. everything about the way he moved, made it feel like i was seeing light for the first time.
