Chapter 7: Levi

Age 16

"Lyd, come here"
"What is it Lev- AHHH" I spray her with my water gun.
"Levi stopp" she screams giggling, running away as I chase her.
"Not today amor" I shout as I shoot the water gun at her again.

Amongst this chaos she suddenly stops running away and instead starts running towards me, catching me of guard and tackling me to the ground, not stopping till she snatches my water gun and throws it away. We both start laughing as she hits me with soft punches.
"You got me all wet you dummy"
"Which precisely was my intention" I answer laughing, hugging her as she buries her face in my chest, continuing to hit me.
Soon, she lifts her head up and that's when I- or rather We realise the position we were in-

Her on top of me completely and utterly drenched in water from head to toe shivering and me below her, holding her by the waist, my hand suddenly itching to go lower.

I cannot fathom how such an innocent situation now appears like a scene out of some teen erotica movie.

Feeling the awkwardness grow in the air, she instantly gets up and lays down beside me on the ground.

Wanting to lighten the mood and get rid of the awkwardness, I joke, "Thank god you got up, you were really heavy, I almost couldn't breathe." She hits my arm and replies, "Please, you bench like twice my weight."

We look at each other and chuckle, laying in silence for a while.

With someone else, it'd be a compulsion to start a conversation. But with her, I never had to. It was never awkward with her. Her presence is just so calming.
It's like, with her, I can conquer the world and without her, I'm just an empty husk of a man.
We never needed to speak to communicate, our eyes were enough for it.
I wanna spend the rest of my life with this woman.

"Lyd"
"Yeah?"
"Wanna know a secret?" I look at her and ask.
She looks at me with sparkling eyes and replies, "Yeah"
I smile and get up, pulling her up by her arm.
"Then let's go" I start running, holding her.
"Slow Lev, or you'll fall" she struggles matching my pace.

Oh amore, I've already fallen, hard and fast.
For you, only you.

I've fallen so bad that I'm going to share the family secret with you. The one my parents forbade me to reveal to anyone.

But you Lydia Quinn aren't just anyone,
You're my happiness, my peace, my salvation, my home.
I'd rather kill myself then ever hide anything from you.

Greetings to everybody, first of all, Apologies for such a late update. I've been busy in my studies. I'll try uploading more frequently. But yes, the next few chapters will be a little short (again, sorry!).
But trust me, it'll all be worth it.
