*** I apologize for how long I've been away. I'm going to start updating more and I have an amazing idea for this story. Please enjoy!!

We climbed into the carriage, Ciel and Elizabeth sitting side by side, and me across from the two. Sebastian mounted himself on the perch of the carriage. Ciel taps the top of the carriage roof with the handle of his cane, signaling to Sebastian that we are ready to depart. Sebastian flicks the reigns, and we slowly make our way into town.

"I'm so excited to be spending this time with you, (Y/N)!" Elizabeth exclaimed, her arm tightening around Ciel's. I glance out the window as our home becomes out of my view.

"I'm also looking forward to our little trip. It has been quite a while since I have gotten away from the manor," I sadly explain. There were a few occasions where I would leave to go on small walks, but I never walked far enough to enter the town. I preferred to stay in the comforts and safety of my home.

"'Tis quite true. I can't recall the last time I saw you out and about, sister. Seems like ages. I suppose this will prove to be an excellent day," Ciel adds while resting the palm on his hand on the handle of his golden cane.

I lie my head on the glass of the window, taking in the sight of beautiful snow. The temperature has been dropping significantly in recent days. I've seen Mey-Rin and the other servants lighting and relighting the fireplaces in the manor more often than usual. I cross my arms and sigh. 'I wonder how Sebastian is doing out there?' I question myself. Sebastian has never been one to complain about the weather. Sun or rain he never ceases to amaze me. I don't know how he can manage to withstand this frigid air.

After not too long, I sense a shift in the ground below. We've changed from dirt to cobblestone, a clear sign we were inching closer to town. For reasons I couldn't explain, my stomach twisted itself into knots. What had I to be nervous about? I'm surrounded by my loving family after all. I decided to push away these feelings and focus on enjoying my day.

"Look! We're here!" Elizabeth squealed in delight, clapping her hands together. Even after all this time, she hasn't changed a bit. She is still the joyful, youthful, girl she has always been.

"Remember you two, it is a rather cold day, if either of you wishes to retire from today's efforts, let Sebastian know straight away and we will promptly go back home," Ciel informed us. Elizabeth giggled and shook her head.

"We'll be fine, Ciel! We won't rest until (Y/N) find the perfect dress for the ball!"

"The young lord is correct, my lady's. Should either of you need anything at all, please speak to me directly and I will be more than happy to escort you home," Sebastian said, as he opened the carriage door. Ciel and Elizabeth were the first to step out.

"My lady," Sebastian said while reaching out his hand toward me. I took his hand and stepped out of the carriage, placing my black heeled boots onto the snowy ground. A harsh, cold wind blew through the air, stinging my skin, and sending shivers through my whole body. I grasped my coat tightly to my body and pulled my hat over my ears.

"Let's go this way first!" Elizabeth directed as she grabbed Ciel's hand. Ciel was caught off guard as he was dragged behind his wife. A small chuckle escaped my lips followed by a genuine smile.

"My lady, let us proceed so that we may follow behind those two," Sebastian suggested.

"May I hold your arm?" I asked. He looked down at me, his ruby eyes softening.
