Kanae POV
As I was talking with my younger sister Shinobu, I couldn't help but see in the corner of my eyes Sanemi was injured...I quickly went up to him and looked him in the eyes and asked "Sanemi..what happened" and of course with his rude tone he responded with "Are you an Idiot or something! I fought a demon..tsk no one here knows anything" I sighed as I looked at him and I told him "Go sit and wait I will be grabbing stuff to heal you" he nodded and left and sat down on a bed.

After a couple minutes I returned and applied a bandage on his wound, I accidentally messed up and hurt him by applying to much pressure, he looked at me and yelled "How could you mess up this bad?!" I froze..I didn't mean to apply to much pressure so I replied with "I...I apologize..." he looked at me and sighed a harsh sigh.

After I was done he left instantly without even bothering to say a simple "Thank you" I just watched him leave...

Sanemi POV
As I left the butterfly mansion, I went to go train until I would have a mission. I trained for about three hours. I finally got a mission, but the mission was with the flower hashira Kanae. I groaned in frustration but decided to deal with it.

As we met we stayed quiet the entire time, or I stayed quiet, she tried making a conversation but I didn't answer anything. After we were running for what seemed like an hour, she tripped and sprained her ankle, I groaned in frustration, and all she replied with was "I apologize.." I just simply nodded, feeling bad a little I decided to try to start a conversation "When did you become a hashira" I asked "I became one a couple months ago" she replied with and I replied with a nod. After she wrapped a bandage on her ankle we continued walking.

A couple hours later we were done with killing the demon, "How is your ankle" I asked and she replied with a smile and said "All better!" I nodded and we returned to the HQ.

A couple months later

Gyomei POV:
As I was sitting down I felt a presence, it was Sanemi the boy Kanae liked and liked to train with, he then spoke "Hello Mister Gyomei, do you know what...what...flowers Kanae likes?" I let out a chuckle and nodded "Yes I do, she just likes pink flowers" "Thank you" he replied with, but then I wondered "Why did you want to know her favorite flower, perhaps you like her?" He replied with "Maybe just a little, but where is she?" He asked "She is currently on a mission, she will be back." "Okay thank you.." he said as he left.

Sanemi POV:

I had a bad feeling, an uneasy feeling...so I decided to ask master where Kanaes mission was, he said it was at a temple, I nodded and left to that shrine, as soon as I went there I saw Kanae on the ground and Uppermoon 2, I was scared, but I didn't back down and leave, I rushed at Uppermoon 2...

Third Person POV:

Sanemi rushed at Douma...Douma attacked Sanemi, as Kanae was seeing this she got this opportunity to call for another person to help she got her crow and called for another hashira..luckily the hashira who came was Gyomei so now Douma has a least chance of winning...as they were fighting it started becoming morning Douma tried to escape but failed as Gyomei and Sanemi got him and he got burned.

SANEMI POV:

"Are you okay Kanae!" I asked not knowing how worried I was, she stared at me with those pink eyes and smiled and also chuckled, she replied with "Of course I'm fine, but are you fine, you seem really worried" she said this as she stood up, it made me smile a little knowing she was alright and all better.

A couple days later

STILL SANEMI POV:

As I was walking to the butterfly mansion I saw Kanae training when she was supposed to be resting, so I quickly ran over to her and said "What are you doing" she looked at me and said "I am just training a little I am a lot better now since my sister took care of me" I nodded in a response and decided to say what I had been wanting to tell her "Kanae...I love you.."

KANAE POV:

"Did I hear him right?! Did he just confess to me?!" I said in my mind, and I looked at him and he repeated it again "Kanae I love you" he said with a confident face, it's as if he knew I loved him back, so I replied with "I love you too" he looked at me and smiled and I smiled back "Then after this stupid demon era loses, we will get married" he said and I nodded
