"Good morning!" the nurse said opening the blind. She smiled "your dad's here to see you," I shook my head. "No thanks," She nodded. Then came over to me "it wasn't his fault, you know," I growled. "Of course it was his fault," She sighted and re-put on my bandage. I sat up, my dad came in the room "hey honey," he grinned. I laid back down and turned. "Don't try anything here," he chuckled. "I'm not stupid," I rolled my eyes and ignored him trying to fall back asleep. Soon he left the room, "Brat!" he screamed as he left.

-a few hours later-

"you have a new vister," i looked at the nurse. I tried to hid my excitement,"Who?" she looked back at me. "A girl named riley Matthew's" I smiled and jumped. I started giggling "oh so she your best friend right?!" I blushed. "No, she's" should i tell her does a nurse really matter. I breathed in "she's my girlfriend," the nurse gasp but shut her mouth as soon as she could. "Oh! well I'll bring her right now," she walked out the room. Riley's coming in my room, i feel the need to fix my hair. I shook my head "i don't have time," i mumbled to myself. Riley came in, and I smiled like crazy forgetting about what happened. Riley had tears running down her cheeks and my smile just disappeared like magic. "Riley," I reached out for her hand "hey, I'm okay!" she sniffed then nodded. "yea," she sat down, "what....what happened," I shook my head about to cry I pushed my head in her neck. "Can we not.. not talk about that yet," She nodded and hugged me. "Hey it's okay," she played with my hair. I slowly picked up my head "So whats going on with your mom," she sighted. "Oh the usally. Screaming and yelling, and more of that...I don't want to talk about that either." She stated, then i started to cry that made her start to cry again. "Why! is are life such a mess!" i growled. I laid down and pulled her to lay on me. She laid on my chest and cried into my neck. Why! did that happened!

I fell asleep, when i woke up riley was gone i sniffed. "Your dad's here to pick up" I smiles a fake smile "oh! great!"

-flash back to last night-

"Dad! stop!" I had to be strong i pushed him off the bested i could. He slapped me! "dad! plz!! stop!!'

-now-
I wasn't going home to him or his friends. I wanted to go home with riley. So when she went to get the paper work. I hopped out the window and grabbed the side of it going down the best i can. It took about 10 minutes then i ran to the nearest house and rang the door bell. When someone finally answered I was crying like crazy. "Hey! who are you!" I cleared my throat. "umm... can i use your phone.." i said then sniffed. The men nodded. When he got his phone he handed it to my and watched me carefully .

I smiled a bit, "riley!" i heard a quick breathe "maya! were are you! the hospital said you-" i sighted "thats not important! come and pick me up at" I looked at the street and address "21 bastes street!" I heard talk on the other end then a "okay!" I handed the man the phone and sat down in the grass. "So who are you! and why did you run from the.... hospital" i gulped "should i call the police?" he asked. "No! plz don't" he had the phone ready. "I ran from my dad, who raped me!" tears fell out again. "and today he tried to pick me up from the hospital, so i left!" I tried to hold them back. "and now my! girlfriend is picking me up!" Tears fell out faster.

Riley's car pulls up, "I'm calling the police!" i shook my head. "Maya!" I ran towards the car and pulled the door going in as fast as i can. Then his phone dialled. Cory drove away as fast as he could. I wiped my tears and looked at riley. "I'm so sorry guys!" i shouted. "you didn't do anything," Cory said. Riley put her hand on my arm, "hey...i love yo-" Cory shouted "WHAT!! DID YOU SAY" Then he turned the music all the way up. I giggled, "dad's" i whispered. "NoTHING!! DAD!! YOUR rUINING MY EARS AND MAKING IT EASY FOR THEM To FIND US" he looked in the mirror and grumbled something then pushed the volume down. "Thank you" riley said. "No! L word yet! okay?" riley quickly nodded. "okay! dad! okay!"
"lets just get home!" riley's dad glared at the road. "Yeah"
