Jayda's POV:
I quickly followed Alana and the girls taking her to the nurse's office. As I ran out of the lunchroom, I caught a glare from Scott. I quickly brushed it off and continued after Alana. We eventually came to a stop at the door, and the group of girls made sure she was okay before leaving. I quickly jogged into the nurse's office after her, assuming she would want me there like she did last time. I came in to see her sitting on the cheap cot, and the nurse typing something into the computer
Alana's POV:
I looked at Jayda walking into the room. It was a pretty tiny room, there was enough room for probably 8 students our age at most. The nurse handed me an ice pack and I slightly flinched as I put it on the bloodied spot on my face. "Are you okay?" I heard her ask me. "Yeah, fine," I replied. She looked like she was deep in thought. "Are YOU okay?" I asked her. "Yeah, I just kinda feel bad. After all, Savannah is our friend, and we probably really hurt her feelings by doing that." I stared at her for a second. I felt some guilt of my own, but I pushed it down. "She'll be fine," I said. "She'll be fine, right..?" I thought to myself.
Savannah's POV:
After I finished crying, I quickly got up and started to run my face under cold water. I had read that would help with the redness. "Why did I do that?" I thought to myself, "You shouldn't have punched her." I fought back the urge to cry again and slowly left the bathroom. The halls weren't crowded, as there were still 5 minutes left of lunch. I began to think about how I was lucky no teachers saw. I made my way back into the lunchroom and slowly sat down next to Scott. Today would be a difficult day.
