The next morning
The sun rose and another day bloomed from the disgusting filth of the earth. Rays of sweltering hot painted golden streaks in Eddie’s unkempt, messy excuse of hair. Squinting his eyes, a throbbing headache stabs at his corneas. He threw the outlandishly warm covers over his head, but the pounding in his skull persisted. Last night was a blur: talk, drink, kiss, Uber.
Bile rose in his aching throat and his breathing sped up. He didn’t know where he was, he didn’t remember anything that happened that had led him there, everything mysteriously gnawed to escape his flesh.
Everything hurts, His back, His head if only he could remember what happen. As the sun blinded him, Eddie rubs his eyes and realized that he got to release Carla form work. Eddie gets up quick or tries too and his whole back cramps and he goes back to bed roughly.
What the…why does my back hurt so much Eddie thought
Then I look down to see me shirtless with bruises and hickeys plus huge scratched and thought What the fuck then I try to uncover myself to realize that I’m naked then I turn to next to me and realized that Buck is in the bed too
Omg Buck is next to me…holding me omg…. Eddie thought but soon realize wait if I’m naked then does that mean… Eddie thought
about it then intimately blush and he goes to check when Eddie uncovers the blanket and saw that Evan was naked too also with bruises and hickeys plus huge, scratched marks so he put the covers back on quickly before Evan could wake up. Eddie unhooks Evan arm around him and tries to get up and get off the bed, but he end up falling off the bed.
Shit that hurt Eddie thought as he look up at Evan surprised, he not up after that loud turd
Eddie gets up and looks around for his clothes when he saw the mess that they made. Condoms packed everywhere a whole box empty. There are clothes everywhere and broken stuff it look like they fought and have hate sex afterwards.
What the fuck happen here Eddie thought as he tries to pick up his clothes that’s when he look at the clock 11 am
FUCK IM LATE Eddie thought as he tries to change fast but can’t cause his whole-body hurts like shit and he gets out the house fast and runs to his station completely forgetting his stuff at Evan house
As Eddie arrive at the station all tired and sweaty from today and last night. Eddie walks up the stairs to see Bobby making breakfast, Hen and Chim are playing games and Athena and Maddie are talking when all look at Eddie. They all have surprised faces expect for Athena because she knows her best friend routine about this, but Eddie didn’t care about he look as he look at Bobby scared and nervous because he can’t lose this job and he needs it for his son. He already got fired from this station from lieing to Bobby that he been sleeping around with lots of women when really, he helping his son, he even had to prove that he was worth keeping by stop a Criminal escape by using a firehose he just can’t lose this job not again.
“Look Bobby I’m sorry I’m late, I know you told be that whole speech about it when you fired me the first time and I know there no excuse, but I need this job cap I need It and I’m willing to do- "Eddie said panicking as Bobby already cut him off
“Oh, I know your goanna be late” Bobby said
“How?” Eddie question looking confused
“Because Athena told me you’re going to be late” Bobby said pointing at his wife
Eddie look even more confused as Chim, Hen and Maddie also look confused
“Wait ok I have so many questions” Chim said as Hen Agreed also Eddie and Maddie
“What do you guys want to know” Athena said
Everyone starts asking questions all at the same time when Athena stop them
“Ok everyone stop talking and go one at a time, ok?” Athena said as everyone agrees
“My questions are…how does Athena knows Eddie was going to be late” Hen said
“Oh, Buck told me” Athena said as everyone look surprised
“YOU SAID SEX WITH MADDIE BROTHER/MY BROTHER” Everyone expect Athena scream
“Woah everyone stop screaming my head pounding also how do you know Athena and how do you guys know I had sex” Eddie said
“Yeah, I thought you know Bobby” Chim said
“I know that he was late not that he had sex with Evan” Bobby said
“Also, I know because I saw you guys left together at the bar drunk also, I saw you guys making out as you both got in the uber, and I know buck routine” Athena said
“And you have hickeys and busied and bite marks all over your body” Chim said stating the obvious
“Oh… what do you mean routine Athena” Maddie ask as everyone agrees
“Sorry can’t answer that you have to ask Buck about that” Athena said
Everyone looks confused about that but knows not to question further
“By the way Eddie, I took care of Chris when Carla left” Athena said changing the conversation
“Oh, thank you Athena” Eddie said
“Don’t thank me I love babysitting the kid” Athena said
“Wait Eddie did just run here and not call a uber” Hen said
“Yeah why” Eddie questioned
“Where your phone?” Bobby questioned
Eddie checks his pockets and stuff
“Shit I must’ve left it at his place Shit Shit Shit” Eddie said panicking
“Calm down Eddie, I could probably call him” Athena said
“No, what happens if I go in and he gets mad or he panics I mean come on we had a one-night stand and what if he regrets it, I mean we were probably both really drunk” Eddie said
