Irresistible Love – PART 2

Malungkot ang mga sumunod na araw ni Jhie. Hindi na nagparamdam si Harry sa kanya. Ni text wala. Naisip niyang na baka trip nga lang nito ang confession nito sa kanya. May mga signs rin na nagsasabing hindi na siya babalikan pa nito. Naiyak siya sa naisip.

“Are you crying?” Tanong ni MJ sa kanya. Nakayuko lang ang ulo niya sa bar counter.

Umiling siya.

“Yes you are. Here, look at me.” Hinawakan nito ang magkabila niyang braso. “Don’t be sad ok? Harry is a star. He’s a highest star that no one can reach. I’m not underestimating you but, look at you, you think Harry will like you?” Sama ka? Gusto ko lang sampalin tong MJ na toh eh. Pero wala lang si Jhie, ganoon na talaga magsalita ito kaya sanay na siya. “That confession thing? It’s a joke! Or should I say, he’s just fooling around, you know, guys that have nothing to do with their selves.”

Pero napuno na rin siya. Walang kwenta yung comfort talk nito sa kanya. Jhie stands. “You know what MJ, if you just say that Harry is just busy, maybe some day you will meet again I would be happy. But this? Huh. Thank you na lang. Wala akong mapapala sayo.” And walks-out. Nakakainis eh!

Jhie walking in the street when someone give her a bouquet of rose flowers. She tried to call out the girl but it didn’t look back. Another side of the street where she was standing, someone again give her a small greened paper with a scent of mild flowers. She read the note. “Follow the arrows on the street!” Sino kaya toh? She follow the arrows on the street and keep walking. She ended up on a glamorous coffee shop. She gaze, it’s the Helen’s Coffee shop. She got more curiousity. She entered the coffee shop and she was shocked. It’s full of green and red rose flowers and different color of lights. On the middle right in front of her, she saw a hanging arrowed paper. It was written as ‘PULL’

She follow again the instruction and pulled the paper. And whoah! She is so surprised! She saw Harry standing in front of her with a guitar. The guy started to sing.

I wanna begin but I don’t know how.

“Hey..” Smiling but a lil bit shy.

Jhie didn’t speak a word. She was smiling too. With her teary eyes open.

Harry reach her back. “Why are you crying?” He was smiling as if it’s just a joke.

Jhie wipe away her tears. “I’m just happy that you’re back.”

Harry carry on her to their seat. “Of course I’m going back. I’m not gonna leave you alone.”

“Hmm. *smiles* Why are we here anyway?”

“The Helen’s Coffee shop. This place is just so memorable to me.” He grab her hand slowly. “Because this is where we first met.” Naalala ni Jhie yung tagpuang iyon. Tama. Una niya nga itong nakilala rito. That moment when he introduced his self to her. At siya rin ay nagpakilala rito. Ang saya lang.

“I know what’s your thinking.” Jhie giggles a little bit.

Harry get something from his pocket. “I hate it when a girl cries on a love story coz she was jealous of that two lovers giving warm hugs and kisses to each other.” Tumayo ito at lumuhod sa kanyang harapan. Tears fall down to her face when the guy show up a small box and say. “Year ago, I promised to myself that I’m only giving this special thing to my one and only special girl. And I’m thanking God right now coz finally, it came true.” Jhie tried not to freak out. “Jhie?” OK! He just asked! HE JUST ASKED!!! JHIE! BRACE YOURSELF!!!
