I think I've met the worst person ever. I was only around him for a few hours, but it was enough to give me a migraine. Why are men so stupid?
《《《《》》》》
The concert was a week ago, and Taehyun has been texting me every day. We mostly talk about how our days were, his always being more interesting than mine. I learned that he is extremely intelligent, much more than I ever will be.
I'm in the process of finishing my homework for the week, but I'm struggling with my Korean history paper. I signed up for the class, thinking it would help me learn more about the country, and it has. However, it is much harder than history back home. Especially because I still forget the language sometimes.
Taehyun agreed to help me, so I sent him a request to facetime.
"Hello," he says, setting his phone up.
"Hello."
I can see two figures sitting on a couch behind him, but I can't tell who they are. My eyes make their way back to the papers on the desk in front of me.
"I can't tell if this class is hard or if I'm just stupid."
He laughs, "You're not stupid. You're from a different country, so you learned about different histories. Don't be so hard on yourself."
"Is that (Y/n)?" a voice asks.
Kai comes into view, a giant smile on his face. "How have you been (Y/n)?"
"I've been good. How have you been?"
He pushes Taehyun away from the camera, "Tired, they never let me sleep."
"You're the one that keeps us up all night," Taehyun defends.
Taehyun manages to push Kai away, Kai laughing the whole time. His laugh echoes through my room, and I laugh along with him.
"Read what you have so far."
I read what I've written, and he nods along. There isn't much, but he seems satisfied with what I have so far. He goes to say something, but a loud noise interrupts him.
"Go play your guitar in your room," says Taehyun.
The loud strumming continues, and Taehyun rolls his eyes. He picks up his computer and walks away. As he's walking, I look behind him and see Beomgyu sitting on the couch, playing his guitar.
Taehyun sets his computer down and steps away to shut the door. He's in a bedroom now. It's slightly messy but still clean.
"Beomgyu and I share a room, but he doesn't like cleaning up after himself."
I nod in understanding, "Why does that not surprise me?"
Taehyun and I start talking about my paper again. I read it out loud while writing, and he adds a few details. After about five minutes, the bedroom door opens.
Beomgyu sits on the bed behind Taehyun and begins to play his guitar. I pretend not to notice and continue talking to Taehyun.
"I only need ten more words, and I'll finally be done," I say, letting out a sigh.
Taehyun nods, "Great!"
The guitar gets louder, and Taehyun gives me a smile before turning back to face the older boy.
"What the hell are you doing?"
Beomgyu stops playing to look back at Taehyun. "Playing my guitar."
"Yeah, no shit, but why are you playing it in here?"
