Denki sat on the edge of his bed, holding the grey book his freckled friend had dropped. The blonde boy had been holding off on reading it, mostly because he felt bad about snooping in his friends personal belongings, but curiosity gnawed at him so badly, and just a little peek wouldn't make him a bad friend, right?

"I'll just read a few pages, and then I'll be done," Denki reassured himself.

He flipped open to the first page. It was underwhelming, to say the least, and there was just a few random doodles of people and animals. The second page, however, was a really nice drawing of a golden retriever, and the third was an even better hero costume design. Denki found himself flipping through the pages, in awe of how amazing Izuku actually was at drawing. He was just looking at a few doodles of their classmates, which Kaminari found hilarious, when he got to a section in the book with two pages glued shut, and other papers obviously stuffed into the two glued pages. Denki, unsure of what to do, decided to carefully open the glued pages. After doing so, papers, no, letters, with most people from class 1A's names written on them, as well as one to Izuku's mom, and a few for some of the teachers, flew out of the two pages.

"What are these things supposed to be? Letters?"

Denki looked around at the scattered papers on the floor and picked up the one with his name scribbled on it. As he read the letter addressed to him, his heart dropped lower than he thought possible. The letter read;

Dear Kaminari,
               Thank you for being such a good friend to me. I know we weren't exactly the closest, but whenever we interacted, you were always kind and a pleasure to be around. I want to let you know that none of this is your fault, and that I've been struggling with thoughts like these for a while, and that you never were a reason I decided to go through with this. Thank you for being an awesome friend, and I'm sorry I had to go so early.
                                                       From,
                                                                Midoryia

"What the fuck?" Denki let out a shaky breath before folding the letter back up and placing it on his nightstand.

"This has to be a joke dude.. He always looks so happy in class, what the hell did I just find?" , Was all the blonde was able to choke out before tears began to accumulate in his eyes and he had to wipe them away to figure out what to do next. He thought about texting Izuku about it, but decided against it because he shouldn't have been going through the greenette's sketchbook in the first place, and he didn't want Izuku to be angry or upset with him. So, Denki picked up his phone, took a deep breath, and decided to call the only person he could think of calling.
