12:00 AM
2 hours after Kaminari had originally found the notes Izuku wrote. Izuku sat on the couch in the common room as silent tears fell from his face every so often, knuckles white from how hard he was gripping the sides of the couch.

"why?" Izuku thought. "why didn't I pay more attention to my surroundings? If I had just looked back and checked if anything was missing or had fallen out of my bag, then noting would've happened. Nobody would have been hurt, and they wouldn't have to share my burden—"

"Midoryia." Izuku hadn't even realized he had started mumbling until he felt his teacher's hand on his shoulder, worry seeping into his usually monotone voice. "Are you alright?"

Izuku flinched. He was fine, right? He was stupid for writing those letters, and nothing was going on with him. The notes were just an overreaction after a bad day. A slip-up. A mistake.

"Huh? O-oh, yeah, Im alright. I was just caught up in my thoughts, I guess." Izuku reassured.

Shota sighed. It seemed no matter what he tried, this kid always seemed to insist that he was "fine" and that he "was just overreacting". Like none of his feelings meant anything, but everyone else's were so important to the point where the green haired boy would sacrifice his own happiness to see the people he cared about thrive.

"Well, if that's the case, I'd like to let you know that I scheduled a therapy session this Tuesday with hound dog for you. I understand that you might be opposed to this, but you need to at least try to get through one appointment before you decide whether you're going to keep going or not."

"I- okay.." Izuku huffed. "I'm sorry for this by the way, it's late and I'm probably messing up your sleep schedule."

"You're fine kid, no need to apologize. It's not like I ever had one anyway. Shota retorted. This kid really did apologize for everything, didn't he?

Izuku chuckled. "Ah.. well if that's the case, can I go back to my room now? I'm kinda tired and I'd like to get back to bed.. It's okay if I can't though!"

Shota exhaled. "Yeah, you can go. Stay out of trouble, alright?"

"Y-Yeah! Of course Mr. Aizawa, I will! Goodnight then!"

Shota watched Izuku with a concerned expression as the green haired boy ran off. He was going to have to keep an eye on him from now on, more than he already has.

"Goodnight, Midoryia."
