●The Night Before The Wedding●

Mrs. Kang flinched when she saw two faces, staring at her from the window of the living room. "Soobin and Kai?" They nodded from outside. 

According to her, they looked funny in the dark, outside with a flashlight in their faces. She got up and walked towards their door to let them in. "What are you two doing here?" She asked, watching the two take off their shoes. 

"It's the last night where our Taehyunnie is single. We're not missing out on that!" Soobin cheekily replied. 

Kai nodded. "We bought drinks-" and he was interrupted by Soobin slapping his hand onto the younger's mouth. 

Mrs. Kang looked at them, confused. "What?"

Soobin awkwardly chuckled. "He meant snacks, right Kai?" He glared at the younger with a sweet smile. 

"Yeah, we bought s-snacks." Kai gave an awkward smile.

"Well, that's nice. Taehyunnie is in his room. Don't make too much noise, alright? Me and your uncle are going to bed. Have fun and don't keep him up till late night. He's getting married tomorrow, you know?" Mrs. Kang grinned before bidding a good night to the other two. 

Soobin sighed and took off his hand from Kai's mouth. "Are you crazy? Were you about to tell Taehyun's mom that we were going to drink?" 

"Sorry, hyung. It just slipped out of my mind." Kai replied with a guilty smile. 

"Anyways, we're going to have the best time of our lives before Taehyunnie is a married man." Soobin grinned, receiving an excited thumbs-up from Kai. 

"Let's make this night memorable!"

When they got upstairs and pushed Taehyun's bedroom door open, they were met with their friend walking around his room, looking nervous as ever. 

"What's wrong, my dear friend?" Kai asked as he took out the foldable table from the corner of the room and unfolded it on the floor, placing the drinks and snacks on it. 

"Nervous about tomorrow." Taehyun replied as Soobin pulled him to sit on the floor, besides him. "What if something bad happens tomorrow-" 

"Let me stop you, right there." Soobin interrupted. "Everything's going to go well. If you keep on overthinking, you're going to get more nervous than you already are." 

"I can't help it, hyung." Taehyun tried to grab his black hair but Kai held his wrist just at the moment. "I'm all of a sudden, getting married to my ex-boyfriend when we haven't even sorted out our misunderstandings. Why does my life sound like some cringy rom-com?" 

"I don't know, but I hope everything goes well." Kai shrugged, already eating the potato chips, he got. 

"I do hope that everything goes well." Taehyun nodded, opening the new Soju bottle and gulping it down. 

"H-Hey," Soobin interrupted him with unsure eyes. "You're going to have a bad hangover tomorrow at your own wedding.." 

"I don't fucking care," Taehyun replied with fire burning in his eyes. "I'm going to get wasted. It's my last night as a single man, anyways!" 

"Cheers to that," Kai hyped him by clinking Taehyun's soju bottle with his own. 

"Why are you encouraging him?!" Soobin exclaimed, already knowing how well Taehyun's mother will act when she founds out that her son and his friends were getting wasted the night before the wedding. 

He's already regretting this and the night hasn't even started.
