●What Are These Feelings?●

It had been a week since Bruno was dropped at their house. And according to Taehyun, the house did look lively more than it ever did when it was just two awkward people living with each other. 

He often found himself playing with Bruno almost for hours, completely ignoring his work and responsibilities. Can you blame him? Dogs are adorable and he always wanted one, but his mother never really allowed him to adopt one. 

"Bruno," Taehyun called out from the kitchen. And not even a minute later, he could hear Bruno's paws colliding with the wooden floor. And soon he found himself crouching down to ruffle the golden's fur. "Hmm, maybe we should give you a bath. What do we say?" Taehyun asked, acting as if the dog could reply him an answer. 

But the dog's wagging tail said otherwise. 

"Okay, let's go!" Taehyun walked upstairs to get to their room, Bruno following him closely. 

He took out a bag from the drawer, which was labelled as 'Bruno'. Then he took out a towel, a dog shampoo and a bath brush. 

He opened the door of their bathroom and let Bruno enter it first. "Okay, now you sit in the bathtub." Taehyun said before sitting down on a small stool in their bathroom. 

He first set the water's temperature, making sure that the water wasn't too cold or too hot for Bruno. Once he settled that, he started with rinsing Bruno's fur gently with the warm water. Making sure that the water wasn't entering Bruno's ears and eyes. 

Watching all those videos of pets hating to take a bath during his free time finally worked, eh? 

He then gently spread a thin layer of the dog shampoo on his palm, rubbing his hands together so he could gain some lather, before gently rubbing the dog's fur with the soap. 

A few minutes later after he made sure that Bruno was ready to be rinsed off, he started to rinse the shampoo of Bruno, who was surprisingly calm throughout the whole ordeal.  

'This is nice,' Taehyun thought. Glad that he wouldn't have to deal with a fussy dog, who hates taking a shower. 

Bruno was always the good dog, wasn't he? 

Bruno was now covered with water, making him look like a grizzly bear. Taehyun laughed, and he thinks that Bruno took it as an offence because as soon as he laughed, Bruno furiously shook his head, shaking the water droplets on Taehyun. 

"Bruno," Taehyun whined, reaching out for the towel. "Now I'm all wet." He complained as he gently drying Bruno with the brown towel. 

And all he got was innocent eyes from Bruno. 

In the midst of Taehyun drying Bruno, Beomgyu suddenly opened the door to their bathroom. "You're giving him a bath?" 

Taehyun hummed, not taking his eyes off Bruno. 

"At least look at me when you're talking." Beomgyu unconsciously pouted. "But why is your face so wet, though? I thought Bruno was the one getting a bath?" 

Taehyun ignored him, finally standing up now as he finished with drying Bruno. Ouch, he could feel his legs going numb as he literally slipped and fell onto Beomgyu, who held him with his hands on his waist. 

Taehyun registered the position for a few seconds, before the redness on his cheeks turned more prominent. He quickly scrambled out of this position as fast as he could, feeling his heartbeat increase with an every thump. 

Bruno just looked at them two confusedly. 

"Bruno, l-let's get you some snacks, alright?" Taehyun awkwardly said, rushing out of the bathroom as fast as he could. 

"Hyung, can you pick up Bruno's stuff in the meanwhile?" Taehyun said out loud from the hallway, hoping Beomgyu could hear his voice. 

What Taehyun failed notice when he rushed out of the bathroom, was the equally red face of Beomgyu.

Taehyun quickly filled up Bruno's food bowl with his food before taking a seat on their couch in the living room. He sighed, still trying to calm down his racing heartbeat. 

He doesn't know why but why the fuck does he get so flustered when Beomgyu is near? 

These days, Beomgyu had also started flirting with him. 

Which is weird. Because which man in his right mind who literally flirt with his fucking ex? 

This is what happened; 

"Hyung, are you sure you don't want to eat something? You haven't eaten anything besides your snacks and it's been like five hours." Taehyun said, concerned when Beomgyu said that he would be skipping dinner for that night. 

"It's fine, darling." Beomgyu said, getting up from his chair, the endearment just casually slipped out from his mouth. 

"I'll be full from receiving all your love and care." Beomgyu winked at him, completely catching the younger off-guard. 

"What?" Taehyun replied in disbelief, his eyes as wide as saucers. "You're- what the fuck?" 

"Got you speechless, didn't I?" Beomgyu smirked, leaning closer to Taehyun's face. 

Taehyun flinched and backed away from the closed proximity. "Are you sure you aren't hurt, hyung? You're acting a bit crazy." The younger laughed, but his laughed immediately dropped when Beomgyu- 

"Yeah, I actually got hurt on my lips. Can you kiss them and make it feel better?" Beomgyu smoothly forced in another pick-up line. 

Taehyun rolled his eyes, harshly punching Beomgyu's arm before running upstairs. 

That night, he didn't notice his feelings. 

But he surely did now. 

Whatever it was, he just hoped that it wasn't something called love. He had truly given up on that feeling a long time ago, and he'd rather get kicked by a giraffe than give a chance to it again. 

'It's probably not love. Definitely not. I must be crazy for thinking something like that.' Taehyun thought, but was left confused when he felt something heavy on his shoulder. 

He turned around and saw a familiar face resting his head on his shoulders with his eyes closed. 

There goes his heart. 

"What- What are you doing, hyung?" Taehyun asked, panicked. 

"Shh, you're so loud and for what?" Beomgyu mumbled, his eyes still closed. "Let me just rest my head on your shoulder for a bit." 

Taehyun didn't reply anymore, too stiff to even talk or move. 

"Relax a bit. I'm not gonna bite you." Beomgyu suddenly grumpily muttered out of nowhere. "Unless, you want me to-" 

"Shut up, hyung! Just quietly rest if you want, otherwise I'm gonna go play with Bruno!" Taehyun exclaimed, cursing Beomgyu out in his mind.

"No," Beomgyu stated, wrapping his arms around Taehyun, before falling into a sleep full of peacefulness. 

What Taehyun didn't know was that, it was Beomgyu's tactic to gain his attention. Beomgyu would admit that he was feeling ignored for the past week ever since Bruno dropped in out of nowhere. He missed having Taehyun's attention on him as a whole. 

But Taehyun didn't need to know about that.
