Beomgyu might as well just collapse to unconsciousness at this point rather than getting up from his cozy, warm bed that he was snuggled into under his heavy blankets. He would rather be in bed, cuddling with his boyfriend for hours until they both fell asleep to each other's touch, and then they would see each other in their dreams and-
"Hyung!" Taehyun snapped his fingers in front of Beomgyu's face. "Earth to Beomgyu!"
"Taehyunnie!" Beomgyu smiled, shifting so he could make space next to him on the bed. "Why don't you come cuddle with me baby? I promise that would me so much fun than whatever you have planned out-"
"Absolutely not!" Taehyun exclaimed, now sitting at the edge of the bed. "We've spent the weekend cuddling each other. I want to do some fun things and with great hard work and research, I've found a simple indoor date we can do!"
"Do we really have to?" Beomgyu whined. "I mean I would rather have you in my arms than to scratch my head, wondering why the fuck is my paper bird looking like a fucking airplane."
Taehyun frowned at him, not buying Beomgyu's comments at all. He gripped Beomgyu's hands and pulled him to sit properly from when he was half-laying down on the bed. "C'mon! It'll be fun! Trust me! Plus don't you remember how much you liked making things out of origami paper?"
"Taehyun, that was when I was fourteen." Beomgyu deadpanned. "I'm like nearing thirty now."
"Stop being so overdramatic." Taehyun giggled. "I promise you, it'll be fun! I even prepared some of the pictures which we're going to try and recreate. We have a paper bird, bunch of flower types, a moon- oh also a koi fish! Then a dolphin and-"
Beomgyu was being bullied into doing this. (Being bullied by Taehyun's doe eyes and dimples!)
So now he found himself sitting on the bed, which he sincerely thanked Taehyun to not let him sit on the cold floor, sharing a foldable table with Taehyun onto which they were making paper crafts.
And oh boy, was Taehyun thriving with his works.
He first made a lot of paper koi fishes, a small paper plane, a pink and white coloured cake and now he was making these small paper stars as he waited for Beomgyu to finish with his own crafts.
Beomgyu.. he was making a lot of paper flowers. And I mean a lot! He was currently making his ninth flower. Although, he was pretty much proud of himself for completing nine flowers under twenty five minutes. That's basically a record for Beomgyu who can't even properly fold a paper without managing to tear it.
"Hyung, are you finished?" Taehyun asked, yawning as he finally finished his twentieth paper star.
Beomgyu shook his head, chuckling when he heard Taehyun groan. "No, my love. I'm afraid you would have to wait a little bit more." As he said that, he took another coloured paper and started making his tenth paper rose.
Taehyun slumped down on the bed, staring at the ceiling silently as he continued to wait for Beomgyu.
Another twenty five minutes passed by and Beomgyu found himself completing his twentieth paper rose, finally sighing in relief and cracking the muscles in his neck and hands when he was done.
"Are you finally done?" Taehyun lifted his head in expectation from where he was laying on his stomach, putting his phone down to the side.
"I'm not, baby." Taehyun's groan was muffled by the pillow.
"Are you trying to take Picasso's place but with your paper crafts instead, huh? What are you even making-" When Taehyun craned his neck to see what Beomgyu was making, the elder immediately covered the paper flowers with his body.
