Olivia's P.O.V

I kept replaying what happened earlier today. Ashley has never had a mental breakdown like that before. She's really starting to scare me. I see this stuff happen everyday, but it's different when it's someone you love. I can't believe I didn't know sooner. I could've helped her, talked her through it, something.
"Hey babe," Elliot rolled over and shook my shoulder a little, "It's 5 in the afternoon and we need to get up so we can sleep tonight."
I rolled over and looked at him,
"I don't want to."
"You sound just like Ashley," he chuckled as he got out of bed. He flung a pair of jeans and an NYPD t-shirt over his shoulders and made his way to the bathroom.

I walked down the hallway to get Ashley up. I opened the door slowly and quietly. My baby looked so beautiful. she was in a fetal position and she was clinging to her old Elephant stuffed animal I got her when she was 7.
"Ashley, wake up honey. You have to go to Austin's house to study." I knew she hated going there, but he helped her academically. Her grades are amazing.
"Mom, just 5 more minutes," she mumbled throwing her pillow over her head.
"No Ashley. Get ready, now. I'll come back in 10 minutes to check on you."

I walked to the couch and turned the Tv on.
"It's been forever since I've seen you watch tv," Elliot laughed walking in.
"I know. There's nothing on." I exclaimed.
"Chrisley Knows Best!" Ashley squealed jumping on the couch.
"What's it about?" El asked.
"It's amazing! Trust me."
"Ashley, we're leaving in 15 minutes. Do you want a snack?"
"Um no. I'm good." She said staring at the tv screen.
"Can you imagine us being on a Reality tv show?" Ashley said, laughing. "Everyone would think that we're crazy!"
"Ashley, it would be boring if you ask me."
"I don't mean just us, Mom. I mean like Nick, Amanda, Fin, the whole crew! It would be crazy!"
"If you say so," Elliot said ruffling with her hair as Ashley tried to get away from him.

After dinner I drove Ashley to Austin's house.
"Do I need to walk you in?" I asked Ashley, parking the car.
"No, Mom. Please don't make me go inside." She pleaded, "I hate it here."
"Ashley, I'll pick you up in an hour. You're going to be fine."
"Mom please!"
"Go Ashley."
"Fine." Ashley started to get out.
"I love y-" She slammed the door and walked away before I could finish. I put my head on the steering wheel. Teenagers are so complicating, I thought. I watched her knock on the door. She turned around, looked at me, and rolled her eyes. Austin answered the door and took her bookbag. He's such a gentleman. I don't know why Ashley hates it there. I put the car in drive and started driving home.

Elliot's P.O.V

I watched Ashley and Olivia drive down the street. Ashley is my only baby and it kills me that she went through what she did. I could've helped her. I knew I shouldn't have let her go to Maya's house. I slammed the refrigerator door and punched it. Damn it Elliot. You really screwed up. I knew this was my fault.
"Hey babe." Olivia walked in.
"Hey," I sighed.
"Why is you hand bleeding?" She ran to get a first aid kit.
"Liv, I'm fine." I shouted.
"No you're not," she yelled back. She came back holding the kit in her hands. "Sit down, now." She ordered me. Obeying, I sat down at the kitchen table.
"What did you do, El?" She poured peroxide over my knuckles.
"Nothing. I'm fine."
"You're so headstrong, like Ashley," she sighed.
"Liv, you can't put bandaids on my knuckles."
"I know. I'm not stupid." She said. "It's not that bad, it just needed cleaned out." She explained.
"Are you picking Ashley up or am I?" I tried to change the subject.
"You can if you want to," she closed the first aid kit and looked at me, "It would be good if you would talk to her. She's getting tired of me." She sighed.
"Liv, that's not true. Nobody can get tired of you. You still take my breath away everyday," I said.
"That's corny, Elliot." She said, smirking.
"Fine. Last time I tell you how I feel." I stood up and acted like I was hurt.
"Elliot," she laughed.
"I'm going to get Ashley," I leaned down and kissed her cheek.
"Try to talk to her," she whispered in my ear.
"I know, I know." I grabbed the keys and walked out.
